The Legend of Zelda’s Dungeon Theme Becomes Eerily Chill in this Lofi Hip-Hop Remix

Entering the corridors of a dungeon for the first time in the original The Legend of Zelda can be a chilling experience. It’s at that moment when a player truly understands the danger of their quest, and nothing sells that understanding more than the music that plays once one enters the labyrinth. The eerie sense of dread one feels when hearing the Dungeon theme helps a hero get ready to journey into the unknown.
That feeling is still present in this lofi hip-hop remix of the Dungeon theme from The Legend of Zelda. Brought to us by P.M. Seymour, this remix attempts to be both chill and spooky, drawing inspiration from the Old Man’s iconic line: “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this!”. The result is the kind of theme that would have Link bobbing his head while he explores the depths of a dungeon.
