The Legend of Zelda Truly Rocks in This Link’s Awakening Medley

Rock / metal and The Legend of Zelda just seem to go hand in hand, as we’ve seen with many fan arrangements over the years. This rockin’ medley is no exception, as musicians Ro Panuganti & Colbydude take us on a musical journey through Link’s Awakening, from the catastrophe that brings Link to Koholint in the first place, through the overworld, and finally to the journey’s end.
These guys bring such skill and musicality to many of my favorite Link’s Awakening tunes in this well produced medley. Particularly, their harmonies between the guitars are fantastic, and the drums supporting them make this medley an awesome ride. Featured tracks from the game include “Tal Tal Heights,” a couple dungeon themes, and of course the iconic “Ballad of the Wind Fish,” along with many other great selections. It’s clear that in this medley both artists are just as stoked as we are for the new remastered edition of Link’s Awakening.
