newzWith the announcement last week about Twilight Princess HD launching next year and the snippet of Zelda U that we saw in the Direct, many are wondering what this could mean for the future of Zelda U. Could there possibly be a “link” between the two, could we see some amiibo compatibility between the titles? Could the fact that Eiji Aonuma worked on Twilight Princess and is doing the same with Zelda U, mean that we will see similarities from the two titles? The art style seems a little more reminiscent to Skyward Sword then Twilight Princess, but what is the true story behind Zelda U? Why has it really taken so long to release, and what is Nintendo willing to do, how far are they willing to push the envelope with the next chapter in the Zelda franchise? These are some of the questions that M. Productions ponders in one of his latest videos. Join him and a couple of guests in the discussion of “The Hope of Zelda U”

I was genuinely excited about the announcement of Twilight Princess, but I wasn’t necessarily surprised. Its hard to really tell what the game will truly look like and how well the HD will look, at least until its running on my Wii U. If they do as well as what they did with The Wind Waker, then I for one will be very happy.

What about you? What are your thoughts on the announcement of Twilight Princess HD? What did you think of the brief glimpse we caught of Zelda Wii U? How far do you want Nintendo to take this title? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
