The Groose is Loose in This Rockin’ 8-Bit Cover of His Theme From Skyward Sword
Posted on September 01 2017 by Kristen G. Rosario
When you first see Groose in Skyward Sword, he looks like a straight-up pompadour-wearing bully. Heck, he even has own music when he enters a room that reminds me of Bulk and Skull from Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. Speaking of his music, this retro-style cover gives a nice take on the big guy’s theme.
This version of Groose’s Theme comes to us from 8-bit cover artist Loeder. This is not the first Zelda theme we’ve covered from them either. They’ve also done 8-bit covers of the Shop Theme from Ocarina of Time and Dordung Cavern from The Wand of Gamelon. This reworked variation of Groose’s theme has Loeder admitting that it now sounds similar to that of the Pirate Theme from The Wind Waker.
What do you think of this cover? Will you be checking out anymore covers from Loeder? Let us know in the comments below!
