With less than a day away till the release of the first expansion pack for Breath of the Wild, the Zelda community has been hyped once again since the game’s release. This upcoming expansion pack called the Master Trials, is scheduled to be out on June 30th and will cost players roughly $20 USD. The pack is set to come with the Master Mode, which is a hard mode for the game, the Travel Medallion, a variety of awesome outfits and armor for our hero and the Trial of the Sword which will unleash the Master Sword’s true potential.

Now this expansion will be taking up some memory space on your console, whether it’s the Switch or the Wii U. On the Wii U version, however, the Master Trials pack will take up a file size of 3.7 GB while the Switch version will only take 456 MB of space. It’s not known why the Wii U version is much bigger than on the new console, but it might be a bit of bad news for Wii U players. It might mean you’ll have to clear up some space on your Nintendo console in order to make room for this new add-on, especially if players are planning to get the second pack for the upcoming holidays.

What are your thoughts on the Wii U version being bigger than the Switch version? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
