Would you be as excited for Hyrule Warriors if Zant and Ghirahim weren’t playable? According to an interview between GameInformer and Youske Hayashi, one of the game’s producers, Koei Tecmo only made them playable because of fan outcry. Check out the short quote after the jump.
The developers “originally thought of them strictly as enemy characters.” The team eventually decided to include them in the list of playable characters “in response to people who wanted to try playing as them.”
Fan feedback did more than include these two dangerous characters into the roster. The company also included the poultry terror, the Cuccos, into the game; however, how they will function is unknown as Hayashi teased, “They will appear during battle, and you’ll have to play the game for yourself to see what will happen.”
So, are you excited for Zant and Ghirahim? Will you be brave enough to hit a Cucco and see what will happen? Seems like there’s a lot to look forward to when this game comes out. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
