The Divine Beasts Are Playable in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

As November 20th creeps closer, Nintendo has opened the hype tap a little wider for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. In a portion of today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, the big news was that Chapter 1 of Age of Calamity is playable today. Perhaps more specifically exciting is that within the accompanying trailer footage, Zelda fans got an extended look at how the Divine Beasts are incorporated into the action of the game!

For each of the four metal demigods, we are treated to an establishing shot of the mechanical giant entering the battle field, followed by a jaw-dropping display of its unique attack pattern. Furthermore, these animations imply that the player will be able to gain full control of these ultimate weapons within the game!

Seeing Vah Medoh glide in with air superiority truly put the scope of this game in place. Which of the Divine Beasts are you most excited to see join the fray? Please tell us your hopes for their place in the action below.
