TwoBreaths, a musical duo consisting of twins Dragomira and Soryane, have composed a unique cover to Dragon Roost Island’s theme. The score is done completely on the harp played by Dragomira. This piece is a wonderful way to spend those dark winter nights curled up with some hot cocoa. So grab your favorite pillow, find a comfy chair, and hit the jump to take a listen to this peaceful melody. Kassye Butler26 year old mother of 2 future gamers. Currently…

All through The Legend of Zelda series we are shown these two characters that time and time again seem to find themselves thrust together in one perilous journey after another. They cross paths over and over, whether they are descendents or reincarnations, Link and Zelda seem to always have their fates intertwined. There is always great peril and danger that surrounds them, and it would seem as if through the main series one cannot live without the other. There is…

Hello everybody and welcome to this week’s edition of Zelda Dungeon Talks! This time around we will be looking at which home or handheld console presents the best way to play Zelda games. With the amount of consoles we have seen Zelda games on we have quite a few choices here. When The Wind Waker was remade for the Wii U in the form of the beautiful Wind Waker HD we were given one of the smoothest experiences yet. Being able to switch…

Since 2012, Lorerunner — formerly Archengeia — has been my favorite YouTube personality. With his minimalist approach to production, he excels through pure commentary. The guy’s insightful interpretations, coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, often have me revisiting particular games with a fresh perspective. Throughout the past several months, he has been exploring the underlying themes of each individual Zelda title. This past week in particular has seen the release of ruminations on both Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Each…

Austin “PeanutButterGamer” Hargrave’s fifth annual Zelda Month continues with not only the first countdown of the lot, but also a deeper look at an infamous cult gem. The former, specifically, is a collaborative video in which he and Game Theory’s Matthew Patrick run down their least favorite pieces of equipment from throughout the series. From downright useless items such as the Deku Nuts to those with particularly frustrating properties — I’m looking at you, Giant’s Knife — it’s a solid…

This past Thursday’s Nintendo Direct brought several major announcements to the table, not the least of which being Linkle’s inclusion in Hyrule Warriors Legends. As expected, the folks at GameXplain have already begun analyzing the finer details of the announcement trailer. From Linkle’s relationship with Link to the power behind her crossbows, this breakdown definitely runs the gamut. Check it out after the jump.

On GoNintendo a custom made Zelda ukulele was featured. Its designed like an ocarina and has a cool overall design, with a Triforce emblazoned on the head. In the post a video of the individual who designed it is shown and they are even playing it. Pmasterkim plays a few songs, such as the song of time and song of storms in the video for your musical delight. Check out the video after the jump! Jarrod HadrianI have been gaming…

Although the Wii version of Twilight Princess was the first Zelda title to experiment with motion controls, the game wasn’t initially developed with those controls in mind. Admittedly, I prefer the Wii version, but it’s clear that Link and Midna’s adventure was originally a GameCube game. Skyward Sword, on the other hand, took full advantage of the console’s capabilities with the advent of Wii MotionPlus. That said, its control scheme might be among the most polarizing elements of any individual…
