Hopefully this week’s Collection Spotlight proves that the size of a collection is not what makes a collection impressive. A collection is not measured by how many books and games someone has. 14 year old Seth is a shining example of a passionate and driven collector. While his collection might appear small to some, it still retains every bit of individualism and uniqueness which marks it as a very impressive horde. Hit the jump for more!

In this weeks Mas’ Zelda Collection video, we take a look at the Sheik First 4 Figures Statue, released back in Quarter 3 of 2007. Initially retailing for $109.99, this was the 4th statue in the First 4 Figures series of Zelda statues. The statue had a limited run of 2500 statues, but has long since sold out, making it yet another sought out Zelda statue. While it has become a rare statue, it is nowhere near as expensive as…

This weeks Mas’ Zelda Collection video takes a look at the Ocarina of Time Link First 4 Figures Statue, released back in Quarter 2 of 2007. Initially retailing for $109.99, this was the 3rd statue in the First 4 Figures series of Zelda statues. The statue had a limited run of 2500 statues, but has long since sold out, making it a sought out Zelda collectible nowadays. Every so often this statue will pop up on auction websites such as…

In this weeks collection video we take a look at a Wind Waker Sports Watch. This was a free GameStop giveaway in early 2003 to get customers in GameStop stores, while also pushing sales for the Nintendo GameCube and The Wind Waker. The sports watch can clip onto a keychain or your belt buckle. The watch has become a bit rare as it is now nearly 10 years old. You’ll still find them on occasion in searching eBay or Amazon,…

In this weeks collection video we take a look at the How to Draw the Legend of Zelda Book. This book teaches the basics of how to draw some of the characters from Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. It’s incredibly simple to understand and it starts with drawing basic shapes that any aspiring artist should have no trouble with. Originally released by Troll publications in 2001, it was later re-released by Scholastic in 2004. Overall though, I’m not sure…

Early this morning I came across this post over at Kotaku and it’s a fans image submission of all the Zelda games in his Zelda collection. By all the games, I really mean all the games. This includes multiple copies of certain titles, some of which are the different language releases of the various games. There are also some very rare collectibles along the way. One of the most expensive Zelda collectibles that I know of is that Oracle of…

In this Zelda Collection video I take a look at a figurine dating all the way back to 1989. This is an officially licensed Link figurine from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. It’s rather simplistic and Link surely does have a rather unique look. His face in particular is quite strange with his gazing eyes. This figurine was part of a set of 12, including 9 Super Mario figurines and 2 Punch-Out figurines. It looks like the Legend of…

In the latest Mas’ Zelda Collection video I take a look at the two different versions of A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo, as well as all the goodies found inside. Much like the NES Zelda titles, A Link to the Past came with some nice goodies, including a huge foldout map, a very detailed instruction manual with a backstory, and a small ‘Top Secrets’ FAQ. A Link to the Past originally released in the United States…

Triforce is one of the biggest Nintendo fans around, commonly known as the man who is always first in line when it comes to big name launches. He was first in line to get a Nintendo 3DS, Ocarina of Time 3D, and more recently to get the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. We’ve had a chance to interview him at both the Ocarina of Time 3D and Skyward Sword launch events at the Nintendo World Store. To celebrate the 25th…

This Skyward Sword display stand can be found at local GameStop’s and retail stores around the country. Lucky enough for me, I’ve developed quite a relationship with my local GameStop for the last several years and they were willing to part ways with it. Unlike many of their other posters and stands, this one was not a required floor display and thus, given the particular GameStop is not overly large, they were willing to let me take it off their…
