Twilight Symphony released earlier this year to great praise among the Zelda community. Arranged and produced by the fantastic team at the Zelda Reorchestrated, Twilight Symphony reimagines the original soundtrack from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as a sweeping cinematic score.

The ZREO team streamed the entire Twilight Symphony album as a three-hour music video, complete with game footage to accompany the story being told by the music, in early May 2013 after premiering the video at MAGFest in January. Now, the ZREO team is uploading the gargantuan production to YouTube track by track.

Alone the music is phenomenal, but accompanied by in-game footage, there’s no better way to re-experience the story of Twilight Symphony. Head past the jump to see the music video for “Overture,” and head over to ZREO’s YouTube channel to catch up on the Twilight Symphony footage. Don’t forget to subscribe in order to stay up-to-date on all the new releases!

Just recently the team at Zelda Reorchestrated released their album, Twilight Symphony, on YouTube. Included are orchestrated tracks of songs from Twilight Princess, along with a professional Hollywood choir. Not to mention vocal talent from several live soloists, including Aubrey Ashburn from titles like Dragon Age 2, and Devil May Cry 4. Hit the jump to see the video.

Twilight Symphony is a masterful recreation of the entire soundtrack from Twilight Princess via real life orchestration and choir work. It’s arguably the greatest sounding Zelda music to ever exist, but sadly Nintendo and ZREO could not come to an agreement to release the album for digital download. Enter Cubed3, a Nintendo fan site that took it into their own hands to preserve Twilight Symphony on YouTube. You can listen to the entire album right now. This is naturally a huge relief for Zelda fans across the globe, as the only people who currently have real copies of the album were certain media outlets (us included) and the Kickstarter fundraisers. To understand just how fantastic this soundtrack is you simply need to read our review.

We obviously hope Nintendo doesn’t attempt to get them removed from YouTube, because it’s a crying shame if Zelda fans the world over weren’t allowed the opportunity to listen to this fantastic soundtrack. For those wondering, ZREO itself has closed up shop. Hop inside to listen to a few of our personal favorites.

As most of you know, Zelda Reorchestrated (ZREO) has been showing their love for the series by producing beautiful symphonic performances of various Zelda scores for almost a decade now.  Unfortunately, that time has come to an end, and ZREO is ending their fantastic musical journey.  We here at Zelda Dungeon are woeful that this experience has ended so suddenly, and would like to give a personal thanks to the team of Zelda fans who worked on creating beautiful recreations…

Our mission statement has always been: “At Zelda Reorchestrated, we are committed to lush symphonic performances of the greatest songs from The Legend of Zelda™ as they would have sounded from the warm halls and intimate expression of a live philharmonic. We do not seek profit or fame. We simply love Zelda and wish to share its inspiration on all of us with all of you.”

Zelda Reorchestrated has been a wonderful project from some of the most talented fans and musicians for nearly ten years now, culminating with the release of Twilight Symphony, one of the most impressive fan projects that gaming has ever seen. Today, however, the Zelda Reorchestrated team is preparing for one last goodbye as they part ways an move on to bigger and better things. Head inside for more information.

Twilight Symphony is the latest effort by the Zelda Reorchestrated team, who have collectively been slaving away for five years now to arrange and produce the biggest fan-made album gamers have ever seen. Twilight Symphony is an orchestral retelling of the events that take place in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess by arranging the soundtrack of the original game as a full symphony rife with motifs and teeming with heart and soul. Beyond taking the listener on a voyage from Link’s humble agrarian beginnings to the final moments of his heated struggle against the Demon Thief, Twilight Symphony explores dozens of secondary and tertiary characters’ own journeys and their effects on Link himself.

The Zelda Reorchestrated team has yet to announce a date for the album’s digital release, but you can subscribe to the Twilight Symphony mailing list to find out as soon as one is announced.

Past the jump, you’ll find a full review of Twilight Symphony followed by a closer examination of the tracks and Zelda Informer’s exclusive preview of this incredible album. Without further ado, let’s begin!

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you should know that Zelda Reorchestrated (ZREO) has almost released their enormous Twilight Symphony project. In fact, it was supposed to be released by the end of November, but there’s a good reason why that date’s been pushed back to mid-December. Nintendo is now on board. After a good deal of sorting through legal mumbo-jumbo with ZREO, the album should be good to go around mid-December. Hit the jump for more!

The guys over at ZREO (Zelda Reorchestrated) have a released a few sneak peaks from their Twilight Symphony album. Seeing that all four of them were being recorded in what sounded like a capella (a form of singing that covers all instruments through their voices), I rushed right over to check them out. It sounds just like the real thing, it is amazing what they are doing. Check out the videos after the jump!

ZREO Music has recently posted an update on their Twilight Symphony. This is the last preview before the actual release of their album. They’ve also said that there are a number of surprises on the album they don’t quite want to reveal yet. In addition, there will now be three and a half hours of arranged music from Twilight Princess. The preview features a lovely 7 minute piece of quite a few arranged songs from Twilight Princess. It’s pretty amazing…

The Twilight Symphony is a project to orchestrate 40 musical tracks from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight of Princess. Not only is it a plan to orchestrate these songs, but the goal is to have a full-sized choir to accompany these tracks. The full project will end up being upwards around two and half hours of orchestrated greatness. The folks over at Zelda Reorchestrated set off on a fundraising goal of reaching $18,000 to record the session. Thanks to all…
