The YouTube channel mashed, well known for creating great video game mashups and parodies has recently taken on its latest parody inspired by The Legend of Zelda. In this comedic animation we see a  smart mouth Tingle encourage Link to secure one of Tingle’s Maps. As you might expect Link will pull out all the stops and bombs to get just what he wants. Head on past the break to see what hilarity ensues when Tingle and Link meet up…

As if Tingle wasn’t hilarious enough, YouTube channel mashed has recently produced a Zelda-themed animation starring the man-in-tights himself, with a very derpy-looking Link as his co-star. Complete with accent humor and a sufficient amount of yells and cries from Link, this fan animation is definitely something you don’t want to miss out on…

Shovel Knight is, without a doubt, one of the most critically acclaimed games to release last year. The indie title has garnered a huge fan base and has since released some version exclusive content on both the PS4 and Xbox One, but the Wii U has been missing that special attention. Sony’s Kratos got an exclusive level on the PlayStation consoles and the Battletoads got an Xbox boss level. However, Nintendo has nothing similar to speak of for either of their consoles. That hasn’t stopped Yacht Club Games’ David D’Angelo from discussing his interest in a Nintendo IP making its appearance…

Welcome to week twelve of Caption Contest Monday!

Last week was another huge success and we had some really great responses from everybody. It’s a good feeling knowing that I can come back on Mondays and get a good laugh to start my week. Also, the number of responses has jumped dramatically as of recent, and that is such a great feeling. This week, we’re going to feature a fan favorite in the world of “side characters”, Tingle. I am fully aware of what I am doing here, and I encourage it…to an extent. Let the fart jokes commence!

The Zelda series has quite a selection of likable characters; players don’t have to search for very long to find a character or two that they will love and love forever. But for one extreme there must be another. I think it’s safe to assume there is at least one character in the lands of Zelda that you hate unconditionally. Today we will explore these characters, whether they are annoying, unpleasant, or otherwise unlikable. It’s time to dig deep inside ourselves and explain why we absolutely hate the Zelda characters we hate…

If you love the Legend of Zelda series, then you know who Tingle is. The middle-aged man whose vehicle of choice is a balloon attached to his back. Tingle first appeared in Majora’s Mask on the N64 and appeared in quite a few Zelda games proceeding that; specifically Oracle of Ages, The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, The Minish Cap, and he is part of the Majora’s Mask DLC of Hyrule Warriors. Tingle also makes minor appearances in Phantom Hourglass…

Tingle has always been one of the quirkier characters in the Zelda franchise since his introduction in 2000 as a map maker in Majora’s Mask. Since then, the 35-year-old has made numerous appearances across the Zelda series, including as a new character in DLC for Hyrule Warriors.

Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma recently spoke about Tingle’s origins in an interview with Kotaku and had a lot to say about where this green-clad character comes from and how he was designed…

While most of the time a lot of competitions and release dates tend to favor those in the USA, there is the odd occasion where us in the UK get to try things first. Such is the case with the Majora’s Mask DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors. A lot of people seemed disappointed when it turned out Tingle was a playable character rather than Skull Kid but he could still be an awesome fighter. Along with the two new characters,…

New gameplay footage has been uploaded to the web of Tingle in action, but this time on an adventure map. This bearded elf like man wrecks any enemies in his path with his trusty balloon. When he sprints, confetti shoots out behind him. He’s got pretty awesome dance moves, too. Watch as YouTuber ZergHive powers his way through this level…

The newest Hyrule Warriors DLC pack, which is already out in Japan and releases for the rest of the world on February 5th, will feature Tingle and Young Link as playable characters, as well as some new tracks, and a Skull Kid outfit for Lana.

YouTuber NintenDaan has gotten his hands on a Japanese copy of the game with the DLC, and has just uploaded two full videos of how Young Link and Tingle will work as characters…
