How Long is Skyward Sword?

Kotaku has a short article up that talks about how long Skyward Sword is. We’ve heard Shigeru Miyamoto say that Skyward Sword would have at least 50-100 hours of gameplay. So was he right? Apparently so, because the author of this article states he reached about nearly the same amount during his playthrough of Skyward Sword. A youtuber by the username of lara6683 has made a video of herself performing the theme for Skyward Sword using a piano and a violin. Another interesting thing about this video is she performed this all by ear! This means that she did not use sheet music to perform the melody, but that she was able to discern what notes to use just by listening to it. And in my opinion, that is pretty awesome! Nintendo has circulated an email informing people about a celebration of the launch of Skyward Sword. It is set to take place at Nintendo World in New York City from 9am to 1pm. They have many different things planned for the celebration such as: completing a Zelda Trivia challenge, taking a picture with the Master Sword, and getting a gift with the purchase of Skyward Sword. According to Walmart.com, the pre-orders for the Skyward Sword Bundle have been completely sold out. It also mentions to check back on 11/20/11 or on a date afterwords to see if they have any more in stock after Skyward Sword’s release. With only a few more days left until it’s release date, it’s unsurprising really to see that this has occurred since there are a lot of people trying to get their hands on a copy before time runs out….
