Amiibo’s Wave 2 has finally arrived (some of Wave 2 arrived a little earlier for some lucky Looters at LootCrate. Guilty as charged), and Amiibo like Luigi, Pit, Little Mac, and more are finally hitting store shelves. Of course, for us Zelda fanatics, one stands out above all, and that’d be Princess Zelda. And in a video uploaded by NihongoGamer, we’re going to see the Princess Zelda Amiibo, unboxed. We’ll even see a battle between a Real Zelda and Amiibo…

Back in October, we told you about Harmony of Heroes: a free, fan-made Super Smash Bros. tribute album. Love it as much as we do? Luckily for you, it’s just received an 112 minute expansion named Final Smash, and it features songs inspired by the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been out for less than a month, but that isn’t going to stop Nintendo fans the world over from taking advantage of the custom stage builder. While I have seen several custom stages since the game was released, I felt like I should feature some of the very best Zelda stages I have come across to this point. Of course we encourage everyone to share their own custom stages, Zelda themed or otherwise, in the comments below. We would love to see some of the neat creations our fans have come up with! Otherwise enjoy…

We have seen handheld/console connectivity in Zelda games before, such as the Tingle Tuner in Wind Waker, and the GBA connectivity in Four Swords Adventures. It’s been ten years since the last attempt. With Super Smash Bros. for 3DS able to connect to the Wii U version (serving to transfer custom characters, or function as a controller), what would you think about this for a Zelda game?

Nintendo UK is now offering a free Hylian Crest keychain in their online store with the purchase of any Zelda product. This includes amiibos (Link and Zelda), video games (including Super Smash Bros. for Wii U), t-shirts and hoodies, backpacks and messenger bags…

Amazon has recently updated their listing for PDP’s upcoming Wired Fight Pads for Wii U with several new photos, including their Link controller. These pictures offer a fantastic view of the Fight Pad from almost every angle, giving us a good idea of what to expect when it comes out. The controller’s top and bottom faceplate come in green and beige respectively, along with brown sticks and triggers meant to mimic Link’s outfit in Twilight Princess. The + and – buttons come in blue while the Home button is in yellow. Right above them we get a nice Royal Crest

With Super Smash Bros. Wii U only a day away from release in North America, and only a little longer than a week in most other areas, reviews have started to come in from far and wide, and the general consensus seems to be that this game is absolutely amazing. With reviews more favorable than nearly any other game this year, and tons of perfect reviews from a variety of gaming publications, it’s likely that Smash will be one of the best games we see in a long time.

Metacritic—a website that counts the aggregate professional review scores of all kinds of video games—has given the game a…

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is only two days away, and the hype is strong with this one. Perhaps the most beloved multiplayer game for Nintendo fans, Super Smash Bros. asks players to break fighting game conventions and instead of whittling away at HP, to knock their opponents off of a given stage. Here at ZI, we’ve had a good amount of time to play through the game’s plethora of modes and challenges, and let me tell you, Zelda fans will not be disappointed.

We have uploaded videos depicting complete gameplay of all the Zelda stages in Smash Bros. Wii U,  both in their original forms and the omega versions. We’ve also tried to create our own stage using the Stage Builder, loosely based off of the Dark World from A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds.

Check our YouTube channel for more footage from our review copy of the game, and be sure to check in here tomorrow to see our review; with only three days left until the North American release of the game, and about a week longer for the European release…

Since we have a review copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, we get to post a bit of information about certain aspects of the game. One of the ways we have decided to use our time is in recording all the victory poses for every Legend of Zelda character. The videos are posted to…
