Being possibly the most famous band of all time, it is surprising that the greatest hits of The Beatles are not more prominently used on the internet for fun videos like this. larryinc64 on YouTube has recreated The Beatles “Eleanor Rigby” in a 16-bit style, modeled after the sounds of A Link to the Past, and it fits quite well. Check out the full video after the jump!

As many know at this point, Nintendo has seemed to remake quite a few Zelda games for both 3DS and Wii U. With Zelda U and Tri Force Heroes releasing in the future, who’s to say when the next remake will release? And to that, there’s a follow-up question- what will the next remake be? Would it be a remake of an older Zelda title, or a newer one? Is it of high-demand, or do you even care to see…

One thing that’s usually accounted for in a game is its soundtrack. Depending on its quality, that may improve thoughts/opinions of the title. It’s a huge part of the game, and will hardly go unnoticed. There are some that are good, and some that are bad- it all depends on the effort given and the composer in-charge. The Legend of Zelda has had quite a few games, and their soundtracks are pretty hard to overlook. That’s why I’m going to talk about…

As if the original Link to the Past 16-bit soundtrack weren’t amazing enough to hear during your playthroughs of the SNES classic, some fans just couldn’t help but make the tracks even better than you remember. That’s right, this fanmade patch contains wonderfully orchestrated soundtrack to make your nostalgic adventure that much more enjoyable. You can hear the differences from the demo after jump.

Even though A Link to the Past was released in the early 1990s and was the third Zelda game released, it has a huge fan base and a lot of people still claim it to be the greatest Zelda game ever released. I’ve only played the game once on the Game Boy Advanced and that was several years ago. I was playing it while visiting a friend and needed to complete it before I left as it was his game…

YouTube member zoxsk8 has gained a reputation for his custom painted themed controllers and consoles. Well he has posted a video of his latest commission, a custom gold Zelda themed Super Nintendo system. The console has been repainted with a gold theme including triforces on the controllers and glittery gold painted exterior with bright reflective gold replacing the normal dark gray areas. The video starts out showing off a few still images of the console then goes on to show…

Hello Zelda Dungeoners, and welcome back to Flute Boy’s Meadow, the weekly feature where I take a good look at the music that makes Zelda great. Today I’m returning to writing this feature after taking a week-long break to attend last week’s Zelda Dungeon Marathon–which, by the way, was absolutely amazing! To start off again, I chose a piece of Zelda music that ranks among my all-time favorites. Despite being less than 20 seconds long, this rousing theme manages to…

Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly! Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, we search the Internet for Zelda-related laughs. I think this pitch is worth mentioning at the beginning of the article as well: if you come across a Zelda-related meme, please by all means let us know! Especially if it’s one you’ve made yourself. We’d be happy to check it out! We try to get our…

In the latest Mas’ Zelda Collection video I take a look at the two different versions of A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo, as well as all the goodies found inside. Much like the NES Zelda titles, A Link to the Past came with some nice goodies, including a huge foldout map, a very detailed instruction manual with a backstory, and a small ‘Top Secrets’ FAQ. A Link to the Past originally released in the United States…

What were you doing in 1992? Many of us were probably playing A Link to the Past that had just been released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This game went on to become a fan favorite and to be considered one of the greatest Zelda games in the series. Yesterday, in Zelda Universe’s 25 Years in 25 Days article they primarily focused on A Link to the Past. Because of this, today, for 1992 they look back at the…
