Of course, a few of you must have gone to some club before; whether it was with friends, or by yourself.   When you’re dragged along by friends, it’s usually unavoidable.  So, I’m sorry for that. Back to the point- when you go to a club, you typically expect to hear some songs that make you want to dance- it’s what clubs do! But have you ever gone to a club that has everyone dancing to Saria’s Song…? Recently, DJ…

The Zelda games inspire some amazing creations from fans of the series, from drawings, to paintings, to music, and more. In the case of these two guitarists, the Zelda games inspired them to arrange and perform their own version of Saria’s Song…

This weeks Cosplay feature is by the lovely folks at The Zelda Project, and it’s a tiny bit different to the normal Cosplays we see. This week I’ll be showing you guys a gorgeous Cosplay of Saria… By a young girl!

Ever wonder what it’s like making a piece of fan art? Artist Adam Scythe recently posted this time-lapse video of a portrait he did with inspiration from a scene in Ocarina of Time. The time-lapse video consists of sped-up and highly edited footage. This is specifically to show the viewer…

Hello everyone! This is Zelda Artist Exposition, an editorial series where I feature exceptional artists. The goal of these posts is to spread the joy of art wherever possible and to expose artists to a…

Of all the Links who have donned the green tunic and cap and answered the call to save Hyrule, the Hero of Time stands out as particularly legendary. Not only did this incarnation of Link star in Ocarina of Time, a game many consider to be one of the best ever made, but he went on to save the day again in Majora’s Mask, a cult favorite among hardcore Zelda fans. His influence is keenly felt in The Wind Waker, and…

This week on Windmill Hut we have a fantastic remix of Saria’s Song/Lost Woods Theme. Now, this remix isn’t quite as intense as some of the Overclocked Remix pieces are, but the smoothness and comforting mood make for a wonderful remix of an under-appreciated tune. In addition to reserving the original, simple tune from Ocarina of Time, this remix plays with the ocarina sound, and takes Saria’s Song in places she only wishes could have been incorporated into the game. Hit the…

Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly! Due to a scheduling hiccup, we’re posting a day late, but better late than never! Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, the Internet is searched for Zelda-related laughs. This week, we don’t have as many as we have in past weeks, but we think these finds are as good as any! To start this week off, here’s a twist on an…

What is a leitmotif you ask? Excellent question! In simple terms, it’s just a musical theme that is associated with a specific person or idea. Though the idea of leitmotif has been around since the late eighteenth century, the actual term itself was coined by Richard Wagner. Today, most people have no idea who Richard Wagner is, but back in the mid to late nineteenth century, he was pretty hot stuff. Now, what on earth does leitmotif have to do…
