A Link Between Worlds already seems to be a hit amongst the gaming community, even before it’s been released. Even with the short E3 demos last year, people had outstanding opinions of the new title, but now that certain, lucky individuals have had the opportunity to sit down with the game for a few hours, floods of impressions are streaming in. Hit the jump to see what Stephen Totilo of Kotaku says!

The reviewers at GameXplain recently acquired a copy of A Link Between Worlds for their playing pleasure, and they’ve been sharing different parts of the game with followers of their YouTube channel. This most recent video gives us a closer look at Ravio’s Shop, the store in the game where you can buy or rent most of the items you’ll need to get through the dungeons. The video showing Ravio’s Shop is located after the jump. Renting items is something you can do from the beginning of the game, and will generally run you between 50 and 100 rupees. It looks like you can rent every item at one time if you wish to, assuming you have enough rupees to do so.

The text is a bit blurry and can be difficult to make out, but

this article at Zelda Universe shows us a little of what Ravio has to say. For one, not all of the items are available right from the start. The Sand Rod, for example, appears to already have been rented by a mysterious, unnamed third party.

Ravio’s Reminders

November 03 2013 by Cameron Smith

Once again, I have broken my hiatus to bring you something which I’m sure that you’ll all find quite tantalizing! But blink and you’ll miss it! A question that always came to mind when I thought about the rental system in A Link Between Worlds was, “How are you supposed to remember which items you’ve rented, and which ones you’ve actually bought?”. Well, Zelda Dungeoners, I believe I have found the answer. When I say ‘blink and you’ll miss it’,…

Nintendo has released a new video to show off  a sample of A Link Between World‘s music. The video reveals three separate musical tracks, including theme songs for new characters like Hilda, Ravio and Yuga. Naturally, if you want a sneak peak at the upcoming 3DS game’s musical soundtrack, you’ll have to continue reading after the jump.

We’re not done yet. GameXplain still has a lot more footage from their 45 minute session with

A Link Between Worlds, and this time they’re showing off both Hyrule and Lorule’s overworlds. You’ll see a few familiar locations along the way, but what’s most interesting are, of course, the not-so-familiar looking locations.

The areas explored in the video are mostly water based, so don’t expect a grand tour of both locations. What you get instead are some interesting looking locations, enemies, and of course, new and old characters. There’s a lot to be seen in this video, so be sure to check it out!

There has been a recurring thought process that you wouldn’t be able to rent any item you wanted to in A Link Between Worlds until later in the game. However after a gameplay demo and several folks having hands on time with the game today, it appears that every single item in the game is available to rent right away; though, to reconfirm, the buy out prices for each item are insanely high – likely higher than your wallet can hold at the start of the game.

This is indeed great news, as it reconfirms and reassures us that, yes, literally every dungeon in the game can be done in any order… within reason.

Based on the

most recent trailer, there may only be three dungeons to tackle at first before you get the Master Sword.
