Musical instruments have played a huge part in many Zelda games, from the famous Ocarina of Time to the violin and harp of The Windwaker. While each instrument plays a unique part, they all provide some of the most beautiful melodies that can easily captivate anyone who listens to them.

The European eShop is soon going to have what it is calling “The Legend of Zelda Weeks”. Several Zelda games will be up to 37% off for three straight weeks, and if you buy a Zelda game between the 19th an 26th of September, you can get Hyrule Warriors for 10% off! Check out the ad after the jump!

With the new attention Nintendo has finally put on downloadable content, their eShops for the 3DS and Wii U have tapped a whole new market that was being only halfheartedly satisfied before. Thankfully, this advent has given us the ability to download older Zelda games without having to buy the normally adjoining consoles, and recently, these retro downloadables have charted on the 3DS quite well. As they said in the Highlander, “There can be only one.” So what is that one? Hell if I know. I mean c’mon, we wouldn’t be doing these polls if we knew for certain. We know the answers to this poll will change as time goes on, new games are introduced, and our biases change, but for now let’s see where we are as a fanbase. Last time we had The Minish Cap face off against Oracle of Ages, and the former came out on top. This time around it’s the other part of the Oracle duo, Oracle of Seasons, to face off against the first entry in the DS Zelda games, Phantom Hourglass. Remember, don’t judge the game as a whole, only its soundtrack. Hop on in and vote!

In one giant batch, 5 new Miiverse communities have opened up for various Zelda games. The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, and Link’s Awakening DX now all have their own communities to play around in. I question whether we truly need a new community for every single game in a series, but at least fans of the individual games have a place they can go to and talk about that specific game without being overlooked.

Now, we just need Eiji Aonuma to drop some bombs through the development community and we’ll be all set for awhile.

Miiverse has been a really cool social media app for Wii U and 3DS owners to interact with each other by sharing pictures and commenting on different titles via the use of designated game communities. The talent shown on Miiverse by users showcasing drawings from different Nintendo titles is incredible and its great to see the Nintendo gaming community bond with each other like never before. What’s even more exciting to notice is that Nintendo of Europe has announced via…

Link has been assisted by many partners and friends during the events of the series’ 25+ year long history. Some serve as modes of transportation while others act as friends and mentors for Link and sometimes they even act as both. But the question on our mind is, “Just who is the best partner?” Epona, Navi, Midna, and even the King of Red Lions have journeyed far and wide with Link, but who will come out on top as the best partner of all time?
