The marketing campaign for the newest Zelda title has expanded to the United Kingdom, where they’ve received a brand new television advertisement featuring some awesome footage of the game! This follows yesterday’s release of an advertisement in the United States, and certainly serves its purpose in making me want to buy the game! Though I haven’t seen any advertisements for the game on TV yet, it’s great to see that they’re out there on a global scale! Check it out…

New York Comic-Con: The place where the most diverse city in the world shows its nerdy side! Despite my general opposition to remakes, recent news has even me a bit excited about The Wind Waker HD. Faster sailing, a reworked Triforce quest, increased Pictobox capacity, but mostly a new Hero Mode like that of Skyward Sword’s… Finally this game is confirmed to have some new additions that make me excited about it. That said, there are also a number of things missing from it. The Wind Waker is my least-favorite Zelda game and if I were to…

I think New Hyrule on the Adult Timeline would be the ideal setting for the next major Zelda release on home console. This is a sentiment I’ve expressed before on the Curiosity Shop, but I haven’t gone in-detail about it before now. New Hyrule is the land settled by Link and Tetra after The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, featured as the main setting of Spirit Tracks. I think there’s plenty of potential for this setting in another game. Before…

If you’re like me, you owe your love of The Legend of Zelda to Nintendo’s fan-favorite unconventional mascot fighting franchise. The Super Smash Bros. series has included elements from the Zelda series since its first incarnation on the Nintendo 64 in 1999, which featured Link as a playable character. The series’ newest title was officially unveiled for Wii U and 3DS at E3. This version allows players to once again choose Link in their battles, this time with a design…

Early “leaked” evidence of new games crop up all the time, particularly screenshots, and with a series as significant as Zelda that has as energetic of a fanbase as it does, it’s no surprise that we see them a lot. Quite often these are not real, like the infamous “Valley of the Flood” or “The Wind Waker HD”, and we have another surely fake pair of screenshots for you today. A supposed Zelda title for the 3DS, its Japanese title…

The speed running community had been struck with a new record for a 100% run of Majora’s Mask with an outstanding time of 6:06:26 (6 hours 6 minutes 26 seconds). That means that ZeldaFreakGlitcha completed everything there is to do in Majora’s Mask in that time, beating Kaztalek’s previous time of 6:17:26. Every side quest was completed, every dungeon was swept clean all in 6:06:26. I couldn’t imagine doing something like that myself. Check out the five parts of this…

A new glitch was discovered in Ocarina of Time by youtube user, ZeldaFreakGlitcha. In this glitch the user made his way to the Great Deku Tree and after killing Gohma, he activated the portal, but instead of traveling outside he found himself transported to Ganon’s Castle after Ganondorf has been defeated. There he encounters an older Princess Zelda and has to escape from the falling castle. Upon escaping, he then has to fight Ganon even though Link’s still a child….
