The annual Awesome Games Done Quick charity marathon just finished off with two speedruns of Ocarina of Time, one of which being a masterful sight to see. If you think you are a pro at the N64 classic, you must see this clip of Runnerguy2489 not only using impressive speedrunning tactics to get through all the child dungeons, but doing it all blindfolded. Check out the video after the jump!

Hey there, guys! Long time no see, eh?  I haven’t made an editorial in quite a while, and I’ve felt pretty bad about that.  So sorry!  But I’m here now, so let’s get to it! Majora’s Mask 3D is releasing Spring 2015, that’s only a few months away.  So what better way to commend to the glorious remake, than to write an editorial about it? When you think of Majora’s Mask, what do you think of? The adventure?  The characters?…

This week’s Collection Spotlight will be very unique in its own way. So much so that it will start off with the spotlighter’s own introduction. Enjoy! Hi, my name is Izzi. I am 16, and I love music, video games, and reading. Zelda didn’t play much of a role in my life as a child. When I was four, my next door neighbor’s brother had a Nintendo 64, and Majora’s Mask. That was my first Zelda game, and it remains…

After discussing nearly every other game in the franchise, we finally reach this legendary title, thanks to a request from ZD reader “Link and Zelda.” Ocarina of Time is commonly considered to be not only the best game in the series, but the best video game of all time, period. That’s a bold statement to make, but the N64 title surpassed expectations at the time and its revolutionary gameplay and design contributed to the advancement of the video game industry….

Ever wondered if some of Majora’s Mask’s most touted glitches actually work? Is there really a way to get to the fourth day? On EggBusters, they try to find out the truth! Jump inside to see what they found!

Hello again Zelda Dungeon readers and welcome to another Timeshift Thursday feature! I must express my sadness in not being able to write a feature last week yet it’s great to be back and I hope you will forgive me. Anyhow, I look forward to exploring another iconic area in the Zelda series as this week I’ll be covering a special section found in Majora’s Mask. Let me get this straight first, though. I have never played Majora’s Mask at…

I’ve seen my fair share of sculpture-cakes and they always amaze me, but I find this cake particularly fascinating because it features an edible, working N64! (Minus the working part, you can’t actually play an N64 made out of cake.) Nevertheless, this baked dessert has an N64 with Ocarina of Time, a controller, Link, Zelda, and more Zelda characters. Not only that, but it looks good to eat, too! Hit the jump for some pictures!

For 13 years, Ocarina of Time had always been labelled as the greatest video game ever among the gaming community as highly positive and near perfect scores were cast from multiple game sites around the world. Its 3D environment (a first for the Zelda series) took hold of you and allowed you to experience the land of Hyrule as never before by making you feel as if you were actually Link himself experiencing the thrill of adventure. We became familiar…

Some people do some crazy things to own some life sized replicas of famous equipment from our favorite series, Zelda. The guy over at FiberGlassBlades has created an amazing replica of the mirror shield, complete with a full reflective surface that absolutely blows my mind! The shear detail of the piece makes me feel as if I’m actually looking at the real shield that Link used in Ocarina of Time, the original N64 version. Take the jump to check out…

Many people say that all of the best of the best Zelda games came out on the Nintendo 64 console with the release of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. A great many people count both Ocarina of Time as their favorite game, while quite a few would say Majora’s Mask is, like myself. It is always great to go back to the old N64 and pop in my favorite Zelda game to pass the time. However, have you ever…
