This week on Windmill Hut we have another wonderful piano medley by Kyle Landry! Though much shorter than his Ocarina of Time medley, I think the elegance and beauty of this medley makes up for that. Like all Kyle Landry works, this melody is again rich, and leaves the listener with the desire to play a Zelda game, or at the very least listen to the medley over again. Hit the jump to listen!

This medley is probably one you’ve heard before because it’s absolutely fantastic, however it’s one that I return to listen to often. The fantastic violin duet coupled with great costumes, scenery, and visual performance of Lindsey Stirling herself make an overall fantastic video. In fact, the violin playing almost makes me want to see how a violin could be incorporated into a future Zelda game. Hit the jump to watch the video!

This week on Windmill Hut we have another medley by Kyle Landry, except this time it’s specifically about the songs in Ocarina of Time. Of course, being a Kyle Landry video, this is piano medley, but it’s also a huge conglomeration of music from different parts of the game that add up to almost 14 minutes! In terms of length this is one of the longer medleys we’ve seen. It’s certainly not the longest medley that exists, but I’d argue that it’s…

In celebration of the announcement of the new Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, I thought we’d take a look at the Zelda themes from the past games. Mega Man and the Wii Fit Girl are new to the party, but Link and Zelda will always have a large spot in the Super Smash Bros series. The new game will hopefully feature some great new takes on classic themes. Hit the jump to take a look at what…

Hey ZeldaDungeon fans! It’s been a little while since the last Windmill Hut, but now that I’m taking over the article, we’ll once again have a Zelda music feature on Wednesdays! Music is probably the most important feature of a video game for me, so I’m excited to share some of the best covers from around the community. Today we have one of my favorite medleys by famous YouTube pianist, Kyle Landry. Hit the jump to see what’s in store!

Professional pianist player and teacher Kyle Landry has stunned his supporters and viewers with a spectacular video showcasing his ability to play an Ocarina of Time medley to perfection. His piano playing is fast and flowing providing the listener with a beautiful Zelda-themed atmosphere to reminisce in and reflect on the different elements of Hyrule experienced in the much-loved title. Kyle performs compositions such as the ocarina warp songs, “Gerudo Valley”, “Link’s House”, “title theme”, and a few others in…

Just before Christmas, YouTuber WindMageMaster uploaded an epic piano medley that covers a melody from every game in the history of Zelda. At just under fifteen minutes, it’s pretty evident a lot of work went into choosing, arranging, and playing this sound-story of Link’s journeys over the past 25 years. This medley is definitely worth a listen. Hit the jump to see the video!

Many of you may already know who Lindsey Stirling is, an exciting violinist who achieved huge popularity within the gaming community after doing numerous video game medleys. Some of her her most popular videos include a violinist’s take on the Skyrim music, and of course, a Zelda medley. Due to her popularity, IGN recently was able to snag a short interview with her. Hit the jump to see the interview!

When we look for covers of Zelda songs to post it’s usually quite rare that we find one coming from the majestic Majora’s Mask. Thankfully, we have stumbled upon this glorious Majora’s Mask medley, a work of art kindly presented by a talented YouTuber known as GiantDogHD. The medley reminisces on the dark themes in Majora’s Mask and gives off an emotional vibe in the message it wants you to hear. You can listen to this Majora’s Mask medley after the jump!

Olympic gymnast Elsa García Rodriguez Blancas recently performed to the “Zelda Medley” by Lindsey Sterling with swollen, battered hands. Elsa’s sister, Laura, wrote an article on Kotaku explaining that her sister has had a lifelong passion for video games. She has always loved to create original soundtracks for her routines from films and other forms of media, but she and her sister struggled to find the right fit for her famous floor routine at the London Olympics. Laura played the…
