We are now going to have more playable characters in Hyrule Warriors‘ Master Quest DLC, but they are still only the villains that are already in the game. That being said, there are three other DLC coming later that will give us some brand new characters! What characters might you want them to be? Join the discussion after the jump!

Recently, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo revealed that Epona will be a weapon for Link in the first pack of paid DLC for Hyrule Warriors. We’ve now received details for the rest of the pack, dubbed the “Master Quest” DLC, and what all it entails. In addition to that, Koei Tecmo was kind enough to include a trailer, which you can view here! NOTE: If you have yet to play through the campaign, you may want to avoid this article, as…

We’ve all probably beaten a Zelda game and wondered why our fantastic adventure had to come to an end. After spending so much time building Link to his fullest potential, it’s such a shame that his journey has to be over. For most of us though, it’s hardly the end. Some people would be hesitant to call another person a true Zelda fan if they haven’t played multiple games in the series at least twice. But why is it that…

Back in September at the Nintendo 3DS Conferience in Japan Shigeru Miyamoto hinted at a second quest of sorts. However, after getting further translations of that conference, it seemed unclear what he actually was referring to. We never really got full confirmation that there was a second quest at all, but from a recent post over at NeoGAF, we might just have this. The poster refers to the new feature as the Hero Mode and it contains many of the…

When I was at the supermarket yesterday I browsed the magazine section and I picked up the Fall 2011 GamePro special. This isn’t one of the magazines I subscribe to regularly, but I always check to see if there are any Zelda goodies inside. They had their review of Ocarina of Time 3D and one of the Cons that they listed was that the player had to go through the entire main quest and beat it before unlocking the Master…

I finished playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Master Quest a couple weeks ago and I thought that I could share with you my thoughts on the difficulty. As I’m sure you know, there are several factors to the Master Quest that increase the difficulty level. The main thing being that the dungeons have more monsters and different puzzles. I owned the Gamecube version of Ocarina of Time Master Quest, so I was pretty familiar with these….

Despite the fact that Ocarina of Time 3D has received overwhelmingly positive reviews with most scores in the low to mid 90’s, and even some at a perfect 100%. Some core Zelda fans are still skeptical. Is Ocarina of Time 3D really for them? If you are one of the players that beat Ocarina of Time on a number of occasions, did a 100% playthrough, and completed the Master Quest, is there really enough in the Nintendo 3DS version to…

Ocarina of Time 3D is the first MUST-BUY title for any Nintendo 3DS owner. If you don’t have a 3DS, then Ocarina of Time 3D serves as the title that should make you run out and get the new handheld console. If you don’t quite have the money for the new console, now is the time to start begging your parents, writing a birthday wish list, or going door to door trying to cut your neighbors grass to save up…

During my hands on experience with Ocarina of Time 3D, I was told explicitly prior to the event that no video cameras were allowed at all. However, it looks like with the all the footage coming out of European gaming sites… this was not the case at all for Nintendo of Europe. In this video we have 12 minutes of Master Quest gameplay. This includes Link running around in Hyrule Field, the mirrored Market, the Temple of Time, putting on…
