In today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced quite a bit of information surrounding the upcoming The Legend of Zelda title Majora’s Mask 3D. One of the most interesting announcements was the confirmation that not only the game itself but also a Limited Edition Majora’s Mask 3D New 3DS XL will be released alongside all other versions of the New Nintendo 3DS on February 13th…

Nintendo’s limited edition Majora’s Mask has been rather well received by fans. The Skull Kid figurine is drawing people in, enticing them with its dark powers… slowly consuming their souls… and… Ahem, demand is high, and supply is rather limited. Which is a well known recipe for ‘disappointed fans’. Many have been so disappointed that they’ve taken to writing to Nintendo pleading for more stock, and Nintendo have responded. Since the announcement of the North American Special Edition of Majora’s Mask 3D, many fans have expressed their frustration in securing the much sought-after bundle, especially as more retailers make it available for preorder only for it to sell out in mere minutes.
