Today we have three more of those Japanese Skyward Sword Commercials. Much like the endless amount of commercials we got before, these include two japanese women playing through the game. There isn’t much I haven’t stated before… but I still don’t see the appeal. In general, Zelda is not nearly as big in Japan as it is in the west, so perhaps this is meant to expand its audience? Maybe they are just trying to grab the female demographic in…

So the Japanese advertising campaign for Skyward Sword seems to be, toss attractive Japanese women into a chair and have them solve Zelda puzzles and battle Zelda enemies. I’m not sure this is a winning strategy, but this seems to be their approach. This time around we have four brand new commercials for the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. These four all take place within either the Skyview Temple or the Earth Temple and it shows the two women solving…

As with most Zelda titles, when Majora’s Mask was released, it was accompanied by an ad campaign in both Japan and various places across the world. There were multiple Japanese commercials that came out and two of them are embedded right here in this post. The first one actually makes Majora’s Mask out to be quite a creepy game. It shows the actual Majora’s Mask tormenting a young man while he is playing the game in his apartment complex. The…

This commercial for A Link to the Past is entirely in Japanese, but it is hilarious. It’s a bunch of Japanese people dancing. Link looks rather feminine during the commercial as well. Princess Zelda is shown in a cage, and is under attack by enemies until Link comes to save the day. Afterwords Zelda joins Link and continues the obnoxious dance. The commercial concludes with a sweet variation of Ganon appearing, of which it is clearly a massive puppet, but…
