Although we all remember that fateful day Miyamoto told us we would not be seeing Zelda Wii U at E3, I think most of us had our fingers crossed that it was just another clever little trick and Nintendo was toying with our emotions (sigh). But now that E3 has almost come to an end, I think the sad truth is finally sinking in. There will be no Zelda Wii U for us! In an interview with IGN, Reggie Fils-Aime…

In a recent article from IGN, details have been revealed about the upcoming controversial Zelda title Tri Force Heroes. The game’s PVP mode is being called Battle Mode, in which you can fight against other players.

The following is an excerpt from the article…

If everyone thought co-op was the only thing to Tri Force Heroes, think again- it’s been confirmed that there is now a battle mode that goes by the name of ‘The Coliseum’. It can be either 1v1, or a full free-for-all battle (three players total). So now, there’s a little slice of competitiveness in the midst of all the cooperation! For more information, hit the jump! Liam OrthHeyo. My name’s Liam! And I’m a huge Zelda fanatic. Ever since I…

In a recent IGN interview, Shigeru Miyamoto stated that he was there to show off Starfox, and not Zelda U. However, he revealed that the game is still planned to release on the Wii U, as there was previous fan speculation that it may be delayed until the NX is released. He also hinted that there is some “really great” footage of Zelda U that Nintendo will be showing off in the future, but not during E3 2015…

One thing I wasn’t aware existed at the Nintendo Headquarters here in the United States was an employee exclusive store. According to IGN, the store has a similar feel to the Nintendo World Store in New York, however it has a slew of goodies that are likely available at discounted prices. Naturally the store has amiibo, thus staff don’t need to run off and fight over finding many of them, but IGN walked away with a ton of Zelda items. These include Skyward Sword inspired socks, the collector’s puzzle, the Skyward Sword Figma Link, and Zelda plushies… including Tingle and The Wind Waker Link…

Earlier this week, IGN released a Nintendo Voice Chat commentary highlighting a few of the features found in Majora’s Mask that they’d like to see carried over to the upcoming Zelda U title, which was delayed until 2016

Majora’s Mask is one of the most unique Zelda games ever created. The constant threat of being timed, the creepy storyline, and the different variations of Link not included in other titles.  All of this was created just one year after Ocarina of Time, using the same character models and overall feel of the game. How did they do it? Why haven’t we seen newer Zelda titles with the same feature? Hit the jump to hear the answer from producer…

IGN has recently updated their “Top 25 Nintendo 3DS Games” list for Spring 2015. This new update comes with a couple of the more recent releases for Nintendo’s handheld, including Majora’s Mask 3D. In fact, all three Legend of Zelda titles released for the 3DS managed to make the list, with one of them actually landing the #1 spot…

With the game finally out, it’s easy to forget how long and arduous the road to Majora’s Mask 3D was for the fans. From the release of Ocarina of Time 3D and the subsequent inception of Operation Moonfall, to the appearance of Majora’s Mask in A Link Between Worlds, fans clamored to find any and all sorts of referencing that might provide a confirmation that the fan-favorite title would indeed be getting the treatment its predecessor (Ocarina of Time) got. Now that we know the game had been in development since…

One of the most interesting easter eggs found in Ocarina of Time 3D was the references to Skyward Sword, the title to immediate follow it, through use of assets and pictures. With Zelda U following up on Majora’s Mask 3D in a similar fashion, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to guess that some references to the Wii U game might be hidden throughout the game’s world. It may or may not be worth getting your hopes up, depending on how you interpret the following conversation with…
