Hyrule Warriors: Legends won’t be arriving until next year, but we’ve got some brand new scans fresh out of Famitsu that contain some new screenshots. We have yet to notice any new information, but that’s to be expected. Hyrule Warriors: Legends is a port of the Wii U game of similar name, so in general we know much of what the game is. That being said, the scans look really good, and I can’t wait to see how well the experience translates to my New Nintendo 3DS XL next year…

Hyrule Warriors 3DS, which has now been officially named Hyrule Warriors: Legends, has now received its own web page on Nintendo’s E3 website. It includes new details on the game, such as the fact that the game will include all content from the Wii U version. Hyrule Warriors: Legends will also feature all new story content, it also will not be a New Nintendo 3DS exclusive, and you will be able to instantly switch between different heroes on the battlefield…

During today’s official reveal of Hyrule Warriors Legends at the Nintendo E3 Digital Event today, it would seem a piece of news regarding the latest Hyrule Warriors DLC was dully noted. In honor of Nintendo’s big reveal, Nintendo had just recently released a Hrule Warriors Wii U update that now allows fans yet another DLC costume. This time around the costume is a throwback to Link’s Classic Tunic from the original Legend of Zelda. Source: My Nintendo News

After the initial announcement of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, Aonuma was featured in a developer discussion where they not only discussed the aforementioned game, but also officially announced Hyrule Warriors Legends‘ release in the US and Europe. Check out the full video above!

Just in time for the Zelda series’ anniversary, Hyrule Warriors: Legends will be releasing on the 3DS during the first quarter of 2016. I expected it to be released this fall, but apparently Nintendo and Koei Tecmo feel it will be a better to release it then.
