On this more somber (and sleepy) episode of the ZeldaInformer Podcast, we get a lesson from GameXplain’s Derrick on the legacy of Satoru Iwata, as well as many other topics. The discussions are on the quieter end, but full of very informative and thought-provoking discussion on the idea of a Gaming Legacy. Your cast members for this week are…

First off, GameXplain says that unlike the console version, you will be able to switch between different characters on the battlefield. This will most likely help with leveling up…

Nintendo fans may as well call this the Year of the Squid because its most anticipated game happens to be the third-person ink shooting break-out hit Splatoon. With less than a week before its international May 29th release, the hype is reaching its peak. In the wake of this excitement, GameXplain has sweetened the deal for Zelda fans by finding a classic Zelda enemy displayed in Invader style street-art on one of Splatoon’s maps. An old school Octorok makes an…

I can’t count the number of times I’ve stated that my favorite game in the Zelda series is A Link to the Past. While some of that passion for the game is tied to a personal history, I still believe that the game stands as one of the greatest experiences in gaming history. So, when Viz decided to release the Nintendo Power comic featuring A Link to the Past, I was ecstatic. Well, our friend, Derrick, over at GameXplain has uploaded a video showing off the reprint. Check out the embedded video above to get a glimpse into the magic…
