Today I present a new addition to the incredible library of remixes at OverClocked Remix. This piece by a new contributor, anterroir (David Enterlein), is a radical take on the Astral Observatory theme from Majora’s Mask. Though the remix doesn’t seem to parallel the melody that it’s initially based on, the overall feeling is similar to the one you get hearing the original music, but much more intense. Not to say that the music is intense, on the contrary, it’s very mellow,…

Ocarina of Time. The name brings up a lot of memories for almost every gamer out there. With such an emmersive world and deep character driven story line, who wouldn’t want to share their experiences playing the game with the people they love? An article was posted up on GameInformer by Dan Ryckert and in the article he talks about Four Swords Adventures, the Zelda game on the Gamecube where you could play with three other friends while adventuring around Hyrule. It had a single player mode, but it wasn’t as fun to play when compared to the multiplayer aspect. But in order to play the multiplayer mode, you had to have a Gameboy Advance for each player as well as a Gameboy…

GameInformer continue their Zelda 25th Anniversary feature with The Wind Waker. While waiting for the more realistic Link to arrive, everyone was shocked to see the hero wide-eyed and cartoony at E3 back in 2003. With a completely new look, ways of exploring, the Wind Waker pushes the series in a stunning new direction and makes the game the most polarizing entry in the franchise. For people anticipating the realistic-looking Link from a GameCube sizzle reel a few years earlier,…

As another part of their 25th Anniversary celebration, GameInformer has published an article looking back at Majora’s Mask. The article looks at the interesting ways Majora’s Mask departed from the Zelda formula while still keeping many things fans loved about it. Including various looks at some of the masks in the game as well as thoughts on the moon’s unique manner of reminding you of the time limit, this is a great way to look back on one of the…

A few weeks ago, EDGE Magazine gave The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword a 10 out of 10 for it being so perfect. I turns out that GameInformer also gave Skyward Sword a perfect 10. In their review, they explain why Skyward Sword was perfect, but since GameInformer will be putting the review in their December issue and they cannot reveal anything on the website until the 8th of November, they were very limited in giving full details. However GameInformer…

The guys at Game Informer are back once again with the Super Replay series. This time featuring episode 8 of The Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Entertainment System. As we all know GameInformer had a vote a few years back and gave the original The Legend of Zelda the title of not only being the greatest game in the series, but the greatest game of all time and in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series they…
