Majora’s Mask is unquestionably a classic. It was released more than a decade ago on a console that’s now firmly cemented in people’s memories. It was the sequel to one of Nintendo’s greatest success stories, and it has been hailed by the fanbase as one of the greatest titles in its series — praise that’s not unwarranted considering its quality. Considering its age and status, and the fact that it was only the eighth Zelda game ever released in what…

As some of you may know, at the end of last month, the Deadpool video game came out, starring the famous wise-cracking, 4th wall-breaking comic book mercenary. I haven’t gotten the game yet, but while watching some gameplay footage I noticed moments that were clear references to the Zelda series. The first happens while Deadpool navigates some sewers, where at one point he enters a series of rooms reminiscent of an 8-bit Zelda game, and the game switches to top-down…

The funny lads down at olilord have bestowed upon us a gift of nerdy proportions. Two friends have decided to play the theme song from the hit television series Game of Thrones using the in-game ocarinas from Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. They are by no means professionals and probably have hours of bloopers that they are withholding from the public. These two fine gents have worked very hard to duplicate the theme song from “Game of Thrones” using…

Yesterday, media hype spread the word that UK video game retailer GAME had listed Majora’s Mask 3D to be released sometime this year for Nintendo 3DS. We were excited, over the (falling) moon, and overjoyed because in the next few hours a Nintendo Direct presentation was set to be streamed which led to rumors of the much hoped for Zelda title being announced during that time. Unfortunately, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata did not unveil the game and now we know one of…

Just earlier today, European game distributor GAME added a page to their website advertising and allowing pre-orders for Majora’s Mask 3D. Then, after that drew some internet attention, they promptly removed it. Please know that this may be–and most likely is–simply an error on their part. However, with a new Nintendo Direct coming Wednesday morning morning (4:00 AM PDT), we may finally see a formal Majora’s Mask 3D announcement. Make the jump for an image of the listing!
