A mod-maker on L4Dmaps.com named NickNak has created a fantastic remake of Ocarina of Time‘s Death Mountain in Left 4 Dead 2. The full custom campaign includes Kakariko Village, Death Mountain, and the Fire Temple. There are items and infected that are re-textured to look like elements of Ocarina of Time, and there are even some custom features like rupees to use at the fully-functioning shop, and a boss fight with Volvagia in the Fire Temple! If any of you…

This time I’ll be reviewing the Fire Temple from Ocarina of Time. Like I said last week, though, this is my least favorite dungeon of the game. I also said Inside Jabu-Jabu’s Belly was the worst, and I meant that. The Fire Temple isn’t a bad dungeon, but I don’t ever seem to have that much fun with it. In terms of themes, there’s very little to say about the Fire Temple. Like Dodongo’s Cavern, several portions of the dungeon…

Any of you own an old copy Ocarina of Time? Remember that eerie chanting inside the Fire Temple? Well depending on what version of the cartridge you have, the music may sound a little different than the later titles or those you find on the Virtual Console. The earlier versions have a creepy chant going on in the background, the later versions while still creepy, are missing the same chanting from the song. Why was it removed from the game…

This week’s Music Box is coming to you from ZMiX, the producer name of Youtube’s Sparda716. In my time searching the Internet for Zelda covers and remixes, I’ve heard a lot of Zelda Dubstep remixes. A LOT. I guess the two just go hand in hand; but this remix surprised me. It definitely sets itself apart from the other dubstep remixes I’ve heard – check it out after the jump!

The last of the five exclusive videos as part of the Game Informer exclusive feature is now available. This last video focuses on the Fire Temple’s mini boss, the Lizalfos. These enemies have been seen before in previous screenshots and trailers of Skyward Sword, and we only got a second or two to see Link fight them. In this video we get to see the complete fight. Link enters the room and shortly after the Lizalfos notice him and starts…

The fourth of five exclusive videos as part of the Game Informer exclusive feature is now available. Actually, this time we have two videos, which shows the Fire Temple and its boss, Scaldera. The first video is about the Fire Temple. As you may of noticed in the second exclusive video, Link had to find the key shards outside the Fire Temple using the dowsing feature. In this video, Link has found all of the key shards and has used…

Game Informer has one again updated their hub page with their next Zelda feature, a Skyward Sword Screenshot Gallery. There are 36 screenshots available and you can view them over at Game Informer’s website. For the most part these shots show off the Eldin Volcano portion of the game as well as inside the second dungeon, the Fire Temple.

The October issue of Game Informer magazine revealed tons of details about Skyward Sword and one of them was confirmation that the second dungeon of the game was the Fire Temple. In the latest Game Informer video of Skyward Sword we got a good glimpse of what looks like the Fire Temple entrance near the Eldin Volcano. Interestingly enough, if you look at the screenshot above you can see what looks like a door on the left side of the…

More footage has popped up out of the Nintendo of Europe press event. This time around we get some high quality video of an assortment of locations including Hyrule Field, the Temple of Time, the Fire Temple, and boss battles with King Dodongo and Ganondorf. The video quality is fairly good and you can get to see the upgraded graphics fairly nicely. Additionally, at the 2:00 mark in the video, you get to see a video of the large Sheikah…

Just when you think there’s nothing left, something new is found out about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. For a game that is 12+ years old, and has a fan-base as large as it does, its a wonder that anything about Ocarina of Time has yet to be brought to the surface. While most of its deep-rooted secrets have come to pass, there are still many questions lingering about changes to the final product, even after its release,…
