New Tri Force Heroes DLC was just announced during the Nintendo Direct! Instead of writing a long and flowery introduction for these like I usually do, I’m simply going to let the topic stand on its own. It’s the Top 5 Links, judged by whatever criterion our staff felt like: humor, toughness, heroic deeds… As usual, feel free to leave your own lists in the comments below.

GameOver Jesse has yet another spellbinding theory for us Zelda fans! This time, it’s about the possible origins and functions of the Fierce Deity mask and Majora’s mask. First, GameOver Jesse suggests that, as there are many Termina and Hyrule counterpart characters, Majora’s mask itself has its counterpart in Ganondorf. Second, he mentions that the Goddess of Time in Termina…

Our friends over at Zelda Universe and HMK, the You Tube channel that focuses on the Zelda, and Kingdom Hearts franchise along with a few other gaming goodies; have partnered together to create a series of videos titled Zelda 101. The episodes will focus on the legends and lore within the Zelda universe and hopefully dispel any possible confusion that such a vast world that the Zelda franchise encapsulates can create. With the many “facts, theories, and possibilities” that they…

Majora’s Mask is one of the most popular games in the franchise without a doubt, but a darker aspect would be the origins of Majora’s Mask and the Fierce Diety Mask. For those of us who have played the game, we do know that within each mask a spirit has been sealed inside. YouTuber VortexxyGaming believes that Majora and the Fierce Deity were the Terminian counterparts to Demise and Link. Vortexxy believes that Termina is also one of Hylia’s creations and goes on to say that before Majora and the Fierce Deity destroyed each other, she sealed them both within a mask to seal…

Update: The Majora’s Mask Messenger Bag appears to be sold out.

As most Club Nintendo fans know, the long-standing customer loyalty and rewards program is on its way out this summer, making the way for a new one that will debut later this year. As part of the closure of the program, Nintendo added tons of downloadable games, and a sizeable number of physical rewards, including a jigsaw puzzle featuring Fierce Deity Link and the Moon Children, a Majora’s Mask Messenger bag, and a Legend of Zelda themed 3DS XL carrying case. As was the norm with most physical rewards, most…

Sailor Moon and Majora’s Mask were born to have their own crossover. They both obsess over the moon, both have guys who wear masks, and are both dealing with an overwhelming evil set out to destroy the world, so why not put the two together? Laura Kerger, known as ArtistGamerGirl on YouTube, did just that in her latest animation by showing us Link’s true Fierce Deity transformation process, in Sailor Moon fashion…

The folks over at Bobsmade, a custom artwork studio, have really outdone themselves this time. They have created a beautiful Majora’s Mask themed pair of sneakers, and detail that was put into these shoes is amazing. You can definitely tell that a large amount of time was spent into creating these beautiful kicks…

A video comparing the intros of Majora’s Mask on the N64 and Majora’s Mask 3D has been uploaded to Youtube by user Master0fHyrule. The video shows scenes from the title sequences and the games’ introductions– taking us around Clock Town and then into the Forest for that fateful altercation with Skull Kid. The graphics are greatly improved, and few things have been drastically altered. You can judge for yourself whether the 3D intro imparts the same tone as the original….
