Famitsu Magazine, the most popular gaming magazine in Japan, has published their review of Majora’s Mask 3D in their latest issue, and it’s won an incredible score of 9/9/9/10, or 37/40. 

The way this works is Famitsu hires four different reviewers for each game, in order to get a much more informed and balanced opinion. So 9/9/9/10 means that three reviewers gave the game a 9 out of 10, and one gave the game a perfect 10 out of 10…

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu routinely releases quality strategy guides for the industry’s largest releases. As expected, these Perfect Guides offer a collection of tips, maps, and walkthroughs to help gamers through their favorite games. With Majora’s Mask 3D‘s release date a mere two weeks away, fans are hyping it up like there is no tomorrow. It’s no surprise that this game managed to take fourth place on Famitsu’s Most Wanted Games list. In a recent interview with Famitsu, Eiji Aonuma spoke about how the controls for the upcoming remake for the 3DS were determined, mentioning past Zelda titles for the 3DS as references.  He confirmed that gyroscope controls, based on those featured in Ocarina of Time 3D for tasks such as shooting arrows and other projectiles, are returning, and we assume (at this point) that they will be rather unchanged.
