At the end of last week we told you about Club Nintendo of Europe offering its members a The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask inspired light. The light was available for 6000 stars for all its members, and now sadly the light is no longer available. For those members that were able to place their order before the light sold out, they are starting to see them arrive at their homes. YouTube user Pug Hoof Gaming was kind enough to…

On one hand, Iwata is preaching to the choir. With sellouts at every outlet that offered pre-orders of limited edition New Nintendo 3DS XL hardware and games with folks also waiting outside of Target on launch day to pick up consoles that were on store shelves, it’s clear that the limited editions performed really well. There is a chance they could have performed even better if there wasn’t an ongoing strike on the west coast, which Iwata confirmed has affected shipments of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. This is exciting news, even if we don’t have any sort of exact figures…

With the recent announcement that Club Nintendo will be discontinued later this year, Nintendo has promised to continue to fill out their catalog with digital and physical rewards for the next couple of months. Although the North American site states they will start doing so on February, it seems that the European page has gotten a head start. They’ve recently added the A Link Between Worlds Official Soundtrack to their catalog…

Online retailer GAME UK has updated their site regarding the limited edition version of Majora’s Mask 3D. In addition to listing all the extra bonuses that come with it, there is also a promotional video to boost the hype. The trailer shows off…

Nintendo announced on Twitter yesterday that they were officially changing the release date for Smash Bros. Wii U in PAL regions; that means Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

The new release date is November 28th, 2014: still a full week after the North American release, but a week earlier than what was expected for these regions.

This includes every version of the game, like the Wii U bundle, and the Gamecube controller adapter set.

Nintendo hasn’t said anything about…

It has been reported at NeoGAF that Nintendo has applied to trademark the term ‘Hyrule’ in Japan, Europe, and the United States. This of course has led to some speculation as to why; or why now in particular. Hit the jump for the details. We had already heard from different sources, including Nintendo themselves, that we were getting new color variations, a new Adventure Mode map, and one more Legend Mode stage in the newest DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors– The Master Quest DLC Pack. But, oh boy, does it go much further than that. According to the European eShop, we’re getting a lot more than we expected with this DLC pack, and you can find the details after the jump. Hyrule Warriors has been out for a couple of days in Europe, and the European eShop added a little something to celebrate. Considering that I do not live in Europe, I cannot confirm that this special event is ongoing. However, we do have a video that features the eShop background music playing the remixed Zelda theme from Koei Tecmo’s new game. There is no confirmation that this event is coming to the States; but with the game coming out this Friday, it is possible that you may hear the familiar song the next time you go online…

To help celebrate the upcoming Hyrule Warriors release the Europe Wii U eShop has updated again to include the main Zelda theme from Hyrule Warriors. Fortunately the folks at ntower were kind enough to post a video giving the rest of us a look at the updates. Jump inside to check it out for yourself.

Rejoice European readers! You can get The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for free if you register any of the 3DS models currently available, along with Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, or Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
