One thing the Zelda series has become over the last 26 years is less difficult, especially with fighting enemies. Some fans would consider the easier enemies a terrible thing to have befallen the Zelda series, and there’s no doubt Alex at GenGAME is one of those people. Whilst taking a look at Skyward Sword’s enemy hoard at the end of the game, the GenGAME article evaluates the Zelda franchise’s overall difficulty, and calls for more challenging adventures in the future. Hey there guys! First video discussion in a while. I wanted to do something seasonal for Halloween, and ultimately settled on doing a few videos about the monsters in the series, starting with this one. This video is going to be about which monsters I would like to see again, because we haven’t seen them in while, or haven’t seen them in 3D, or haven’t seen them in the way I want them to appear. This is a good topic…

Hey guys! New mailbag. Minimal focus on Skyward Sword this time, and a wide variety of interesting questions actually, including some ones that deal in fact rather than opinion, which I guess is refreshing. But don’t forget about the mailbag intro contest! Check out the rules here and submit your intro before September 6. Anyway, 13 questions in all. Enjoy! You can watch the video here or check out the embed after the jump. Questions and timestamps: (00:23) – What…

It has been a few months since Skyward Sword released, and by now most core Zelda fans have gotten a chance to play through the game, probably multiple times. Skyward Sword certainly is one of the best Nintendo Wii games on the market and some would argue it is the best that the Zelda series has to offer. Skyward Sword was a mixed bag for me. It had some of the best moments I can ever remember in a Zelda…

With all the recent news, videos, screenshots, and artwork, we’ve learned a ton of new things about the various Skyward Sword Enemies. It seems this time around Nintendo is taking a book out of the old console and handheld titles. Rather than having a massive amount of unique enemies, there are many cases where there are standard enemies that have tons of different variations. Thus far we’ve seen multiple variations of Bokoblin, ChuChu, Deku Baba, Keese, Fugu, Lizalfos, Toadpoli, and…

When I think of scary enemies in the Legend of Zelda series, I immediately think of the ReDeads from Ocarina of Time and subsequent Legend of Zelda games. However, the more I think of it… Wallmasters might fit this description even better. Wallmasters first appeared in the original Legend of Zelda and have appeared in a variety of Zelda titles since. The…

Today we have gone ahead and updated our Skyward Sword Enemy Guide, adding and updating information about all the enemies to date. The page now includes 34 enemy entries, each of which include a brief description, where they are located, a screenshot of the enemy, and a game model or piece of artwork whenever applicable. Many of the known Zelda enemies don’t have official names quite yet so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to give fan-names until we know more….

We’re just over five weeks away from the release of Skyward Sword and here at Zelda Dungeon we are gearing towards the launch of our Skyward Sword Walkthrough. In this latest update we’ve cleaned up the Skyward Sword Enemy Guide. With all the latest trailers, magazine features, and gameplay videos there are…

That’s right, episode 3 of the Countdown is now available for your viewing pleasure. This time I discuss my most annoying enemies in the Zelda series. This list was fun to make, and I know there are easily some additional enemies that could have made this list. Head on past the break to see the list of honorable mentions.
