VG Facts is at it again! With the help of YouTuber Jimmy Whetzel, their popular show, Easter Egg Hunting, tackles the Zelda series – specifically, The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link. There are loads and loads of well-known Easter eggs in the series, but VG Facts takes pride in showing us something new – something we didn’t know before – so expect to learn some cool stuff. Also, this is only part one of the Zelda Easter…

When you finally get your hands on Tri Force Heroes come the end of October, be sure to keep an eye out for some Easter eggs, as it seems that a few people have already found some that Nintendo has sprinkled in. We have two to share with you guys after the jump, and keep in mind that there will be minor spoilers if you venture further.

The most widely recognized Nintendo characters usually hail from the Mario and Zelda franchises, so it just makes sense that they would cross over sometime. Most everyone knows that Link is now a playable character in Mario Kart 8, but did you know that Easter eggs tying these two video game giants together have been present since their very first games?

The most mind-blowing Easter egg to me was that a total of 10 Mario enemies can be found in Link’s Awakening, including fan-favorite Mario boss

Happy Easter, Zelda Informer readers! Today’s usually all about egg hunts, but we’ll be discussing the next closest thing: rabbit hunting…

Easter Eggs have long been included in our favorite video games. Though they may have started as simply as a programmer displaying his initials if certain prerequisites were met, they have gotten increasingly complex over the years, with many going undiscovered long after a game’s release. The Zelda franchise is no stranger to easter eggs as well. From Chris Houlihan’s secret room to the familiar melody tucked away in “The Ballad of the Goddess”, the ZeldaDungeon staff has all of…

There are a lot of really interesting Easter Eggs in Majora’s Mask 3D, many of which we’ve already talked about. That being said, new ones are being discovered all the time, including today, with GameXplain uncovering another classic Nintendo Toy – the Nintendo 10 Billion. This toy was a puzzle toy, more akin to a Rubik’s Cube. The idea is to get all the balls lined up of the same color. The toy itself hasn’t been in production for nearly 25 years, so having one is a nice addition to anyone’s Nintendo collection. However, if you want to get a quick look at one you don’t have to travel far, as Nintendo…

One of the most interesting easter eggs found in Ocarina of Time 3D was the references to Skyward Sword, the title to immediate follow it, through use of assets and pictures. With Zelda U following up on Majora’s Mask 3D in a similar fashion, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to guess that some references to the Wii U game might be hidden throughout the game’s world. It may or may not be worth getting your hopes up, depending on how you interpret the following conversation with…

The Zelda series has always been famous for its Easter Eggs, and the recently released Majora’s Mask 3D is definitely no exception. The guys over at GameXplain have been posting a series of videos of all the Easter Eggs they’ve managed to find in the game so far, and the amount of stuff they’ve discovered is insane.

R.O.B. the Robot (most famous as a character in the Smash Bros. games), a Wii Remote, and a massive GameCube console have all been found…

Despite the fact that Ocarina of Time 3D has received overwhelmingly positive reviews with most scores in the low to mid 90’s, and even some at a perfect 100%. Some core Zelda fans are still skeptical. Is Ocarina of Time 3D really for them? If you are one of the players that beat Ocarina of Time on a number of occasions, did a 100% playthrough, and completed the Master Quest, is there really enough in the Nintendo 3DS version to…

Ocarina of Time 3D is the first MUST-BUY title for any Nintendo 3DS owner. If you don’t have a 3DS, then Ocarina of Time 3D serves as the title that should make you run out and get the new handheld console. If you don’t quite have the money for the new console, now is the time to start begging your parents, writing a birthday wish list, or going door to door trying to cut your neighbors grass to save up…
