Have a friend you’d like to introduce to the new Zelda game who just happens to have a 3DS as well? Tri Force Heroes might just be the perfect game for this task. Even if you’ve got one cartridge, you can link up two other 3DS systems to the game and play it together without the physical game itself! With download play, you can not only play through all the regular stages, but…

As demonstrated today in the Nintendo Treehouse livestream, there is a new Challenge Mode in Tri Force Heroes. This mode allows you to unlock the materials needed to create the most powerful costumes in the game. What makes this mode difficult is how it substitutes the items used to complete challenges in the regular mode with different items, thereby making it harder to complete puzzles and engage in…

Update: The stream has moved on from Tri Force Heroes, check out the full video inside!

As you’re probably aware by now, Hyrule Warriors: Legends for the 3DS was recently announced at Nintendo’s E3 event this year. Following all the details, the Official Japanese Webpage for the game has opened up here. The site currently displays…

Nintendo Treehouse just played Tri Force Heroes‘ different modes, and they’ve released a few more details behind Challenge mode. Challenge mode challenges you and your friends by limiting you to specific items to defeat a monster, solve puzzles, and get through dungeons. What makes it so difficult is that these items aren’t the ideal ones to complete the level, so team coordination is key. For example, instead of hitting a switch with an arrow with ease, players are given bombs, and must make them work just as well…

In a recent article from IGN, details have been revealed about the upcoming controversial Zelda title Tri Force Heroes. The game’s PVP mode is being called Battle Mode, in which you can fight against other players.

The following is an excerpt from the article…

Recently, YouTube channel GameXplain uploaded a direct feed video of The Temple, a dungeon from Tri Force Heroes. The dungeon starts out with each player gaining one item of three to choose from: a bow and arrow, bombs, and more bombs. The puzzles look simple enough, so it would seem as if this is one of the early dungeons in the game.

In this particular dungeon, you start out with three fairies, which act as lives…

In a new forum post on NeoGAF, user SatoAilDarko says that, at the Best Buy he is in, Tri Force Heroes is playable while waiting in line to play Super Mario Maker. The times he lists are as follows: 6/17/2015: 4PM-9PM, and 6/20/2015: 12PM-5PM, both local time. These dates and hours from Sato’s claim match up perfectly with the official Super Mario Maker demo times, as seen on Nintendo’s official E3 website.

His claim is further backed up by users niccoolnic and Hatchtag who claim they have also played Tri Force Heroes at Best Buy. It’s looking as if this report…

Much to everyone’s surprise (sarcasm), Nintendo Treehouse confirmed today that there is no voice chat available in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes during the second livestream of gameplay. This means that in order to engage in cooperative play effectively, players must be in the same room or general area to be able to communicate verbally…

Not much has really been revealed about the newest Zelda game announced by Nintendo. But according to Nintendo Treehouse, there will be some brand new items…
