Finally, after adding digital titles unavailable on the Wii, syncing 3DS and Wii U accounts for using points to buy games and many technological changes and improvements to Nintendo’s hardware, the company has announced that it will be releasing digital versions of Nintendo 64 titles onto the Wii U eShop. The Wind Waker HD represents yet another successful remake of a popular Zelda title. After incorporating the Quick Sail item and reworking the animation for stunning graphics, the game served as a huge incentive to buy a specialized Wii U bundle, bolstering sales of Nintendo’s latest console tremendously. Nintendo of Japan have announced that Zelda II: The Adventure of Link will be available to purchase on the 3DS Virtual Console next week. It will be available from the 6th of June and the price for a copy will be 500 yen. UPDATE: Derp. As it turns out, several online gaming news centers reported false in formation. The Virtual Console, as we now know, is in fact part of the e-shop. Therefore, the Virtual Console, and Link’s Awakening, will not be available in March as we had hoped.
