Over the weekend we reported about a series of Majora’s Mask 3D demo events in select stores across Canada. Within this announcement, Nintendo hinted that more retailers would have similar events and it seems that we’ve learned the first of these. Those of you in the United States will be able to try out the remake on Nintendo’s new handheld for one day only at various GameStop stores throughout the country.  Not all stores are participating, however, so we recommend that you check to see…

With fewer than three weeks until the release of Majora’s Mask 3D and the New 3DS XL in North America and Europe, the coveted remake and handheld console are only just out of reach.  While some lucky individuals have been able to try out both at media events, the general public has had little, if any chance to give them a try.  Luckily for our fans in Canada, Nintendo is amending this issue by bringing the two, along with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, to various Best Buy and Future Shop stories in various cities throughout…

If you’ve already watched the footage ten times and are looking around for analysis and discussion about it, here are some reasons to watch it again. First, before the demo begins, it’s important to note that Aonuma is holding the Gamepad, and there is no Wii Remote in sight. Does this mean no motion controls? Who knows, but at the very least, the game is playable with just the Gamepad. I imagine we will also be able to use the…

With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U just around the corner, new information on certain additions is not far away. As amiibo are one of the most talked about topics surrounding the game’s launch we’ve been receiving quite a bit of information the last couple weeks surrounding their release.

Yesterday, Nintendo Talking Toys presented us with an upload showing off the retail demo for amiibo, which offers introductory videos on all 12 launch figures. These fragments don’t necessarily cover the amiibo’s functions as much as it covers…

It’s safe to say the staff here at Zelda Informer have been rocking out to the new Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo the last 24 hours. We happen to have a spare code, so what better way to handle that then offer it to one of you! Whether you were a Gold or under member of Club Nintendo or a Platinum member who wasn’t fortunate, we’re here to at least help one fan get early access to a demo we can all play a week from now. In fact, if any of you have extra codes and similarly would like to offer them up to fans of our site, be our guest! If you’d like to add them to our giveaway, even better! Just email nathan@zeldadungeon.net with the details.

Yesterday, during Nintendo’s Live at the Treehouse event, they announced a number of new things regarding Super Smash Bros., not the least exciting of which being the news that a demo would be coming to the West – that very day. Admittedly non-Platinum members will have to wait until next Friday to get a taste of the brawler, but the news of a widespread demo in and of itself, particularly for a series as important to Nintendo as Super Smash Bros., could signal a new approach for…

Sakurai has come through on his hint; the demo for Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is coming to other territories! It should also be noted that select Platinum members on Club Nintendo can play the demo today; just check your email, where you should receive a download code for the demo…

In a somewhat unexpected move, Nintendo has put up a demo of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS in the Japanese eShop. What makes this particularly noteworthy is that only 5 characters are playable, with Link being one of them! I made sure to include some footage after the jump, so if you’re a fan of using Link in Smash Bros., you’ll definitely want to check it out! Hit the jump to see more!

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS has a Demo released in Japan with five playable characters. They are Mario, Link, Villager, Mega Man, and Pikachu. Thus we’ve got some footage for you along with a bunch of screenshots. We’re naturally hopeful this demo ends up coming stateside. We don’t really know a lot about the demo itself, since it’s only been out for a little bit, but from what we understand the five characters are all very balanced with each other and the game is so far appearing to be a positive for competitive play…

Earlier we reported that there was some really great news for Zelda fans concerning the Final Build Demo event in Japan. Of course, this isn’t the only news to come from everyone getting their hands on the game. A lot of news has flooded Reddit and SmashBoards detailing the starting roster, alternate costumes, and tons of information on how the characters play. The event also included a special trailer at the event featuring the popular Japanese pop group, AKB48, as Mii Fighters. All of the details and screenshots we were able to gather…
