Recently, I published an editorial of the Best Under-Used Items Of The Zelda Franchise.  Previously, I had mentioned Dead Hand, being one of the scariest Zelda bosses of all time. I had also mentioned I would talk more about that subject at a later date. Well, today is that day. We’re going to take a look at some of the scariest Bosses/Events in the Zelda Franchise, and we’ll take a minute to appreciate the darker side of the series. Liam…

Too often while discussing the battles and bosses of the Zelda series, I see people either lump the minibosses in with the main bosses or write them off as regular enemies. The former is understandable, because smaller or not, they are basically boss battles. Still, I’d like to discuss the merits of these lesser foes on their own and ask: which one is your favorite? I think that, while the main bosses have to be epic in presentation if not…

My apologies for the delay in writing this review, but now I can finally cover Arbiter’s Grounds. Scary dungeons are common in the Zelda series, starting with Ocarina of Time’s Shadow Temple. The Zelda games have often had a single dungeon ripe with scary elements, and Arbiter’s Grounds continues this trend but combines it with multiple other elements, particularly those of a desert dungeon. I spent a portion of October reviewing them on my website, and before that I wrote an article similar to this one, counting town my top 10 Resident Evil monsters. With Zelda, choosing my favorites was harder because what defines a good monster…

Well hey there guys! Might be a day late, but it’s the usual day for the mailbag, so I’ve brought you a Halloween-themed mailbag for today! I feel like something strange is about to happen though… Well, anyway, this mailbag has 16 questions, about a bunch of spooky and or villain-related topics in the Zelda series. I also talk about Majora’s Mask a fair bit. Sorry if it’s a bit long, guys. Anyway, enjoy! You can watch the video here…

Arbiter’s Grounds from Twilight Princess was an interesting dungeon… a Hyrulian prison set deep in the desert and, seemingly, run by the Sages. Being the game’s scary dungeon, it had plenty of undead and a creepy song. What a lot of people don’t realize, though, is the opening jingle of the song — that demonic breath, or growl — foreshadows something later in the dungeon, something that also happens to be one of my favorite moments in Zelda and one…
