After a long hiatus, I am back with some video content. The first piece is the return of the Mas’ Zelda Collection series and this time I look at the Dark Horse Ganondorf Figurine. Originally retailing at $124.99 and releasing in late 2014, this statue is very reminiscent to the Ganondorf First4Figures statue that released, albeit a much smaller and less polished statue. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the full video. My apologies for the poor…

While many of us are aware of the top quality figurines produced by first4figures, most would agree that those are generally out of the price range of most of us Zelda gamers. There is no dispute on the quality of them, so how could some cheaper versions made by Dark Horse hold up? You can decided for yourself by dissecting IGN’s unboxing. Link will run you $80, while Ganondorf will run you $125. Link is roughly 10 inches tall, while Ganondorf is 12 inches tall. Either way, I am adding both of them to my Christmas Wish List, because I really want them…

Every year at the annual trade show in New York City, companies from around the globe come together to give sneak peaks at their future products. Dark Horse, the people that brought us the English version of Hyrule Historia, revealed two beautifully crafted Zelda figures. The displays featured prototype figures with pending prices and approximate release dates. Hit the jump to see more of these sculpted versions of our favorite characters.

At the London Toy Fair in January 2013, some prototypes for new Zelda statues were revealed. Fans were able to see these statues once more at San Diego Comic-Con.  The statues consist of Link and Pirate Captain Scervo from Skyward Sword and Link and Ganondorf from Twilight Princess. These statues are going to be produced by Unbox Industries and distributed in the United States by Dark Horse, the same company who released Hyrule Historia. These statues are still awaiting licensor…

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia has been a worthy wait for fans drooling over the thought of an English translation for the beautiful art book. Nintendo and Dark Horse produced the publication and released it in January to widespread acclaim as it hit number one on Amazon’s top 100 bestsellers list. Though so many gamers and avid fans purchased Hyrule Historia, there are still others who are still waiting for the right time to hit so they may lay…

All things seem to be paying off for Dark Horse books after they released a fully translated English version of Hyrule Historia. As we already know ever since its release outside of Japan the book has become extremely popular on Amazon, eBay, and other such sites. Due to the overwhelming popularity of Hyrule Historia, Dark Horse has been quoted as saying that they feel the book’s popularity has only just begun and that they are willing to print as many…

A couple of days ago we revealed that the much anticipated Zelda guidebook Hyrule Historia would be releasing, not only in standard form, but also in a limited edition binding as well. Described as a “limited collector’s edition” you would suspect that this special version of Hyrule Historia would be scarcely printed and may only be exclusively sold in certain stores. Well, it turns out that this is the case! Book publisher for Hyrule Historia, Dark Horse, has announced that…

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia will be released in the West in just under two months time with fans of the series gearing up for an extensive read into the world of Hyrule. Quite a number of standard editions of the much-anticipated guidebook have been pre-ordered and demand is set to be high after the long wait for its localization outside of Japan. To create even more hype for Hyrule Historia book publisher Dark Horse is planning on publicizing…

Hyrule Historia was released with much fanfare in Japan just under a year ago. Along with featuring never-before-seen concept art and interviews with the producers of the Zelda series, it featured for the first time an official timeline of the series; something which an innumerable number of fans had been pining after for years. After much complaints from the fans that possibly the most important document in the history of the Zelda series was a Japan only exclusive, Nintendo announced…

If you were asleep yesterday, get with the times! Now that we’re on the same page, and we all know that Hyrule Historia is coming to the US, UK, and Australia, what is the logical next step? To purchase the book you’ve been waiting for! Well if you were disappointed by the initial $35 price point, I have some exciting news. Both Dark Horse’s retailer and Amazon have a listing to pre-order the Zelda literature, and both offer marked down…
