There are many countdown subjects where you would expect a game from the Zelda series to appear at some point like fun boss battles, useful items and great puzzles. One aspect you may not expect to see an entry from the Zelda series on is a list of the top 10 grim reapers in video games. Surprisingly, an encounter in Majora’s Mask has made 9th place on Game Trailers’ list. Find out who it was after the jump!

Leading up to E3, the latest episode of the GT Countdown over at GameTrailers lists their top 10 biggest train wrecks they remember from E3’s past, and hard as it is to admit, Zelda has not escaped the list. Skyward Sword‘s horrendous control demonstration took the number one spot. Watch the video after the jump.

The folks over on GameTrailers have collected up a list of the top ten games on the 3DS. Zelda fans may or may not be surprised to discover that out of all the games they listed on the latest top ten, A Link Between Worlds tops their list as the #1 game of the system. They credit the perfect mix of traditional gameplay an multiple paths of progression towards the success of the game among everything else on the list….

Having now been a few weeks since the launch of A Link Between Worlds, we’ve decided to make the newest top listing focus on the dungeons from the game. This week we have a number of staff members that list what they thought were the best dungeons in the game, along with a brief reasoning of their picks. Throughout the years, The Legend of Zelda Series has introduced gamers to wide variety of items: some more useful than others, some being throwbacks to items used in earlier games, possibly tweaked a little. It’s a fact, Zelda is well-known for its inventory of items and their application in the many puzzles found in the games.
