It’s no secret that the Zelda universe is filled with many different races, some humanoid, like the Gerudo and the Kokiri, and some with traits from other creatures, like the Zoras and the Mogmas. And while none of the races have any extensive backstory behind their presence in the land of Hyrule, it seems that there could be one for the the Sheikah, also known as the Messengers of the Goddess. Through many subtle clues and much research, one can…

Playing through Ocarina of Time, I was always curious about the boss of the Shadow Temple, Bongo Bongo, and the boss of the Spirit Temple, Twinrova. My curiosity was furthered by finding online theories for Bongo Bongo, and the final words that Twinrova leave Link with after he defeats them in the Spirit Temple. Horror is meant to scare, and for some people that’s not fun, so some people won’t like the Shadow Temple (or the Bottom of the Well, by extension), but for others that’s the fun part!…

Alright, so as promised I’m going to review all of the mini-dungeons in Ocarina of Time as part of one editorial. I’ll be covering the Ice Cavern, which comes before last week’s dungeon, the Water Temple. We’ll also be tackling the Bottom of the Well, which comes before next week’s, the Shadow Temple. Finally, I’m throwing in the Gerudo Training Grounds simply because it fits some of the aspects of a dungeon even if its status as one is questionable…
