Welcome back to the Voidcast! After an extended break, the first episode of 2015 is delving into the world of sequels, time, and continuity. The Zelda series is no stranger to time travel and connections between games. But while many games have used characters, locations and other such elements as subtle ways of referencing previous series entries, rarely to games deliberately and directly connect to the plots and events of past adventures. How might a future Zelda title connect to…

Platinum Games talked about the recent costume additions to the just released Bayonetta 2 through a blog post. Within that post they gave us several concept art pieces (including several for the Link costume) and a slew of new details about the costumes in general. It’s interesting knowing that they were actually afraid of doing things like making Link himself look sexy, despite the fact that Link really isn’t in the game (as we said, it’s a costume). Many of us are aware that it was Nintendo that told them to cut Bayonetta loose, because an unsexy costume wouldn’t fit her personality…

Kyle Bosman, one of my favorite talking heads at Game Trailers, recently stated that Groose was his favorite Zelda character. Of course, no one really cares about that, because the “live ratings” came in and the Final Bosman can’t actually talk about Zelda apparently. Which are points I totally agree with. So sure, he talks a bit about   and Groose, but really this is about a much…

When it was first announced that Bayonetta 2 would be a Wii U exclusive, it ruffled quite a few feathers amongst fans of the original, which had been released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Despite the shift in consoles, the sequel is looking great. The game was released in Japan a few weeks ago, and reviews are already singing in its praise. As of late, Nintendo can’t seem to resist adding their own flair to the franchise by adding…

As was mentioned yesterday, Bayonetta 2, coming packaged with the first game in the series, will feature a Link costume, and some more tidbits were revealed about a it a few hours ago on the Nintendo Treehouse stream. Check out some screenshots and details after the jump!

Bayonetta 2, the upcoming Wii U game featured at E3 today, will contain Zelda-related items and costumes. Whether this will be a DLC or something unlockable in the game is still unknown, but it is certainly cool to see Bayonetta looking so stylish in the familiar green tunic.
