Shortly after the Game Boy started development Kazuaki Morita created a Zelda styled game in order to test the Game Boy’s platforming capabilities. Other members of staff grouped together after hours to experiment and the results were promising. This week’s music selection is a cover of one of my personal favorite Zelda songs. It is the “Ballad of the Wind Fish” from Link’s Awakening played on the hammered dulcimer by YouTube user FrequencyAndSulphur. Short but sweet. I love the way this sounds on the dulcimer. It is absolutely gorgeous. This song is one of the more memorable songs from the series for me. What do you guys think? What is your favorite LA song?
