The manga artist duo known as Akira Himekawa (A. Honda and S. Nagano) who worked on The Legend of Zelda manga series have recently released several unused images of art. The images include Link from Ocarina of Time as well as Oracle of Seasons and were posted on their official Facebook page. They were not used at the time of production for an unknown reason, however Akira Himekawa felt that they were “very special and hope that fans enjoy it”….

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Master Quest has now partnered up with Viz Media. During upcoming concerts across the U.S. attendees will have the opportunity to pick up the soon to be released manga A Link to the Past by Shotaro Ishinomori. Over the last few weeks, Akira Himekawa (female duo behind the Zelda manga series) has been releasing rare manuscript pages of the Majora’s Mask manga in honor of Majora’s Mask 3D. A few days ago, we reported on a new promotional manga Nintendo released for Ocarina of Time 3D’s Taiwan debut. While all of us enjoyed seeing Akira Himekawa’s work again, there was the problem of a language barrier preventing most fans from being able to read the comic. Gladly, the folks at the fan website Zeldanime have been kind enough to break said barrier for us and have translated the entire manga for our reading! Jump inside to see.

Recently, a page was discovered on the Nintendo Taiwan website that includes a short, twelve-page manga illustrated by Akira Himekawa that is based upon Ocarina of Time. This is in a different, new style from the original manga, and is also in color. The entire comic is in Chinese, but you can take the jump to check it out for yourself; the artwork is still impressive despite the language barrier.
