Fresh off the heels of his previous Zelda cover when he did the intro of A Link to the Past, this time YouTube one man acapella choir and professional cat owner Smooth McGroove is covering yet another Zelda song. Having done several of Majora’s Mask covers and plenty of other themes, Smooth is no stranger to the Zelda franchise. This time he returns to Wind Waker, where he covers the Outset Island theme. He has already covered several Majora’s Mask songs, and his cover of Ocarina of Time’s Gerudo Valley is currently his 10th most watched video. YouTube user “Mr Dooves” (under the channel name Triforcefilms) has recently collaborated with acapella musician Jaron Davis to cover Ocarina of Time’s iconic “Hyrule Field Theme.” This tune is one of the most memorable and familiar songs from the game, symbolizing adventure as Link steps into that vast overworld hub for the first time. Popular YouTube artist Smooth Mcgroove has done it again!—This time around he covers the Palace Theme from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Smooth Mcgroove has released a wide variety of video game covers, with a large majority of them being Nintendo related. There are a ton of different music tributes made for the Zelda series. It is amazing to see what some of these fans can come up with. YouTube user Jaron Davis has created a cover of the Palace theme from Zelda II. The cool thing about this particular cover is that it is acapella (no instruments).
