The wait, it seems, may be over. Nintendo announced today that it plans to bring DS games to the Wii U’s Virtual Console. While no concrete details have been revealed, Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, explained that getting DS games, with their dual screen gameplay, on the Wii U GamePad has created a hurdle. Nintendo of Japan have announced that Zelda II: The Adventure of Link will be available to purchase on the 3DS Virtual Console next week. It will be available from the 6th of June and the price for a copy will be 500 yen.
