Back in March, Nintendo announced that a character from the fighting game ARMS would debut in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as part of the game’s second wave of  DLC. We were then left to wonder which ARMS fighter would join the Smash roster as director Masahiro Sakurai and his team continued to develop this so-called “unusual” competitor. Well, we won’t have to wait for that information too much longer, as Nintendo has announced a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate live presentation for June 22nd.

Hosted by Sakurai, this 35 minute Smash Bros. livestream will offer “an in-depth look at the upcoming DLC fighter from ARMS.” Based on Sakurai’s past presentations, we’re likely to receive a breakdown of this new fighter’s moves and abilities, as well as first looks at the new stage and music to be included in the new Challenger Pack. And, who knows? We may see some new Wii Fighter costumes, or even a new character reveal, as well!

This Super Smash Bros. Ultimate live presentation will take place June 22nd at 7 A.M. PST. Sakurai mentioned in March that the yet-unannounced ARMS fighter would be released in June, so don’t be surprised if the new character is available for download as soon as the livestream concludes.

Which ARMS character do you hope will join the Smash Bros. roster? Do you want Spring Man? Ribbon Girl? Min Min? Let us know in the comments below!
