photo (16) Most people in the cosplay community recognize Li Kovacs’ name; this female cosplayer has taken the gaming-model world by storm and just released a showcase video of her flawless Skull Kid costume, which she’ll be wearing while on tour with The Symphony of the Goddesses. The video shows a cinematic introduction to her costume and includes a behind the scenes look at the filming of the showcase. It’s a worthwhile costume to see whether or not you’re a fan of Kovacs’ work, so hit the jump to check out the video!

Kovacs has created and modeled characters and costumes for Nintendo, Video Games Live, G4, and JMP Productions among others; she’s also sported her costumes at numerous conventions. We’ve showcased her work on the site before as she’s cosplayed as Link, Hilda, and Hyrule Warriors Zelda. Kovacs makes all of her costumes, this one in particular took her two weeks to complete. I’ve attempted cosplaying, and I couldn’t produce work of this quality if I were given two years; Kovacs is a major talent in this industry.

What do you think of Kovacs’ Skull Kid cosplay? Did you enjoy the cinematic showcase? Are you attending a Zelda Symphony date and hoping you’ll get a chance to pose with her? Let us know in the comments!
