Spirit Tracks’ Train Inspires New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate “Sights & Sounds” Trailer

With the Nintendo Switch, gamers can enjoy their favorite games almost anywhere. Take the young adult we’re following in this new “Sights & Sounds” trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, for instance, as he takes out his Switch to enjoy some Smash Bros. on the train. As he uses this opportunity to kill some time and get some licks in, the young man ironically starts a match on the Spirit Train stage — inspired by Spirit Tracks — while sitting on said train.
This video joins the growing family of “Sights & Sounds” trailers from Nintendo. Viewers are encouraged to watch the trailer with earphones in so that they can best experience the various noises present in the video. Similar to a standard ASMR video, these sounds can cause sensations of calming and relaxation. Earlier this year, we actually saw a calming “Sights & Sounds” trailer for Breath of the Wild.
