Sonic Amiibo Rumored to be Compatible with Hyrule Warriors

Shortly after yesterday’s leak of Hyrule Warriors for 3DS, the official Sega of Japan Twitter account had supposedly revealed that the Sonic Amiibo would be compatible with both versions of Hyrule Warriors. Although Sega had quickly removed the Tweet, the image to the left and original text from the Tweet are now but rumored across the internet. The original Tweet supposedly stated:  ソニックはアミーボ機能を使用してハイラルオールスターのキャストが参加します！which apparently translates to “Sonic will join the cast of Hyrule All-Star using the Amiibo function!”

Whether or not this was a false rumor or has yet to be confirmed at another time is unknown.
